Surili: (crosses her hands) Toh ab?

Saagar: (shakes his head) Pata nahin.

Surili: Do you love me?

Saagar does not react and Surili gets the message.

Surili: (closes her lips) Fine! (walks away and then stops) Remember Saagar…now even when you need me, I won't be there! (She storms off)

Saagar: (sighs) Mujhe jisse zaroorat hai… woh mera intezaar karahi hai. (smiles lightly)

In Beneras

Vidya places her head on her mother's lap, whom is caressing her head.

Kaushalya: Vidya?

Vidya: (numb) Hmm?

Kaushalya: Tujhe kabhi aisa nahin laga ke Chote Thakur tujhse pyar karne lage hai?

Vidya is silent for a while.

Vidya: Hum unhe jaante hai…. Maa inhe khud pata nahin ke pyar kya hai. Mere jaane se unhe taqleef toh bahut hogi hogi lekin unhe khud pata nahin hoga kyon woh aisa mehsoos karahe hai.

Kaushalya: Aur agar ehsaas hogaya toh? Toh kya karogi tum Vidya?

Vidya: (gets up and looks at Kaushalya, wishing she never asked her that question) Hum abhi aate hai

She walks outside, in front of the front door and weeps. Kaushalya comes from behind…

Vidya: Agar aisa hogaya toh…. (closes her eyes as tears trickle down her cheeks)

A deep and masculine voice interrupts.

Saagar: Hogaya toh?

Vidya opens her eyes in astonishment and Kaushalya is stunned as well. Vidya's mouth slightly opens as she looks at her husband smiling away with his own rucksack.

Saagar stops smiling and takes his bag off his shoulder, he slowly walks up to a lifeless Vidya. He gently wipes her tears while Vidya looks on…

Saagar: Agar mein yeh kahu ke mujhe ehsaas hogaya hai ke Saagar, Vidya ke bina adhoora hai. (Vidya's eyes widen) Agar mein yeh kahu ke main tumse bahut hi zyada pyare karta hu…(his eyes become all watery) itna pyar ke mein tumhe chahakar bhi bataa nahin paooga ke kitna pyar karta hu tumhe. (comes closer to her) Agar mein yeh kahu ke tumhare bina mein kuch nahin hu…..I can't live without- (cut off by an angry Vidya)

Vidya: Wahi ruk jayiye (moves back) Aap apne aap ko samjte kya hai? Aap yeh sab ab kyon ke rahe hai? (touches her head) Aap yaha se chale jayiye….abhi aur isi waqt.

Saagar: (shakes his head) Main yahaan tumhe lene aaya hu. Aur jab tak tum khud mujhe apna nahin leti….Mein kahin nahin jaooga. (grins) Jab tak tumhara mere bina rehna mushkil nahin ho jata…main nahin jaooga.

Vidya just stares at Saagar blankly as he bends down to get his bag and walks in to the house. He turns round to give a cheeky wink at Vidya…!

yayyy...it was so sweet the way he realizes his love for Vidya...love the dialogues Reemz...especially this one "Agar mein yeh kahu ke mujhe ehsaas hogaya hai ke Saagar, Vidya ke bina adhoora hai. " Great job! 😳
