Do you believe in Arranged Marriages? - Page 5

All I am going to say it arrange or Love marriage in both you have to make compermises. Mine was arrange marriage, The first time I saw without even talking to him I just knew that this was IT. We have been married for 6 years and have a 3 year old son. 6 best years of my life and I look forward on spending the rest of my life with this person. 😊

OK.. i bet a lot of you guys would disagree with me. But you noe how marriages are made in heaven but they take place on earth, which means tht even if you do get arranged what tht means is that, that person is suitable for you. Or even if you get love then the same person will be suitable for you. Either ways you might end up getting the same person as marriages are made in heaven. and so each of us have a soulmate either ways.

i dont mind it arranged marriges

i believe in arranged marriages, my parents and aunts and uncles, almost all of them had arranged marriages and my parents are going to celebrate their 30th anniversary, so i believe in it 😛

both love marriages and arranged marriages r good....

nowadays in arranged marriages u get to spk to the gal ur marrying....so then she isnt ur dads pasand its ur pasand too if u agree

n love marriages obviously u both choose....and also they can turn to arranged if u let family join in...in the wedding.....

yea same here .....my mom n dad hav been married nearly 50 yrs.....so i do believe arranged marriages do work.....

i guess it depends on the couple.....

I think that arranged marriages are good if the person isn't forced into doing it.. I mean If you find someone who you think "is the one" for you and your parents agree thats fine.. what it looks like to me is that arranged marriages work and love marriages, don't work out some of the time, in that case theirs a lack of communication or some misunderstanding.. but I guess it all matters up to the person. like in the movie yaddein Kareenas older sister(can't remember her name) has a arranged marriage and she's good. while on the other hand her little sister gets a love marriage which didnt turn out that well..

well i think arrange marriges are good but only if you get to know the person first.

It doesnt matter whether its arrange marriage or love marriage. Marriage is something that you have to work at. We think that in Love marriage that we know the person and that in arrange marriage we dont know the person....but the truth is that after you are married, you only really get to know the person...whether love or arranged. Parents want your happiness. In todays generation they try to introduce you to someone if you dont have someone already. They give you time and space to decide. They dont force you.
This is my opinion....Regardless how you get married...love or arrange.....you see whther you are compatible....the rest will fall in place...!

i was going to say the same thing cuz i know some1 who had a love marriage but didn't work out where as my parents arrange marriage and they r 2ghether for 25 years so yeah
