Sagar put his coffee mug down and ran his fingers through his wet hair. He wondered what the best way to wake Vidya would be. He didn't even realize that his feet started moving towards the bed. Vidya was still lying on her side turned away from Sagar. Sagar looked down at her. He sat down on the edge of the bed behind her and then turned looking towards her face. He extended his right arm and moving it over Vidya put it in front of her.

Vidya felt drops of water on her cheek and opened her eyes turning to lie on her back. Her eyes opened wide with surprise when she saw Sagar looking down at her. She brought her right hand to her heart and said "You scared me, Sagar."

Sagar smiled and brought his left hand up to wipe the drops of water off of Vidya's face. Vidya looked towards Sagar's hand and then towards his face in complete pleasant surprise. She saw the smile on his face and then noticed that he was sitting there in his bathrobe. She closed her eyes and again turned to her side saying "I am going back to sleep."

Sagar moved his hand that was still placed in front of Vidya and lightly slapped her on her stomach and said "Oh no, you are not! Wake up, we are going swimming." Sagar got up from the bed as he expected Vidya to get up.

Vidya grunted as she grabbed her stomach and then opened her eyes in anger. She turned immediately and sat up. "Did you just slap my stomach?"

Sagar looked back at her. "Yes, I did. What? Did you think that I was going to let you go after you elbowed me and punched me in the stomach?"

Vidya put her head back on the pillow and closed her eyes. "Well, I am not getting up. It is too early and I don't know how to swim."

Sagar raised a brow. She didn't know how to swim. She was a fast learner. Maybe he could teach her, he thought. He shook his head and decided it was not a good idea. He smiled as another idea popped into his head. So what if she didn't know how to swim, she knew how to run. He walked to the bed and pulled the covers off of her.

Vidya opened her eyes and made a crying sound and said "Why are you so annoying, Sagar? Let me go back to sleep."

He smiled. "No. If you don't get up I am going to tell your ghost from last night to come take you."

Vidya immediately sat up. "That's not funny, you jerk."

Sagar laughed. "Your 'scared' episodes, how long do they usually last, one night, two nights? The reason I am asking is because…let's say you would need to sleep in here again tonight. I would get very upset if you didn't get out of bed right now and then could kick you out tonight."

Vidya's eyes narrowed as she saw the grin on his face. He was a blackmailing jerk, she thought and wanted to get up and punch him. Instead, she thought about the situation and knew it would be best to go along with what he said because her "scared" episodes often lasted more than one night. So she got up throwing the pillows on the ground and marched to the bathroom mouthing all possible foul words.

Sagar saw her walking away with her messed up hair and loose clothing. She still looked so beautiful and radiant, he thought and smiled.

So he brought her to his gym. She looked around and saw the treadmills and weightlifters and what not. But she smiled when she spotted a couch. She looked towards Sagar and noticed that he had his iPod with him. "Do you do this every day?" she asked.

Sagar picked one of the treadmills and said "No. I prefer swimming but since you don't know how to swim, we will have to do with running."

Vidya deliberately picked the treadmill that was placed behind the one Sagar chose. She stood on it and saw Sagar getting ready to run. "How long do you run for?"

"It depends."

She saw Sagar turning his iPod on and putting his headphones in his ears. She smiled and waited for two or three minutes. When she was sure that he was too into his running and the music he was listening to she stepped down from the treadmill and made herself very comfortable on the couch. She smiled and closed her eyes as she could still hear Sagar running.

Sagar turned the treadmill off and grabbed the water bottle. All red in the face and out of breath Sagar sipped from the bottle and looked behind him. He looked surprised when he noticed the empty treadmill behind him. He looked around and raised a brow when he spotted Vidya sleeping on the couch. He placed the bottle on the treadmill and walked towards Vidya. He shook his head and smiled as she looked so peaceful sleeping. He sat on the floor and leveled his face with Vidya's. Why did he want to wake her up? Why was it so much fun to bother her? He asked himself as he brought his right hand up and brushed his knuckles over the smooth skin of her cheek. He sighed as a slow smile bloomed on Vidya's face as she was still sleeping. He looked at Vidya from head to toe. What was she doing to him? Why was he being pulled towards her so strongly? He shook his head to clear it and decided to go along with his plan. He immediately stood up and shouted "GHOST!!" He knew he was going to go to hell but he didn't care. He laughed as Vidya jumped up and immediately sat up.

Vidya sat up terrified as she looked around and then looked angry as she saw Sagar laughing uncontrollably. She got up from the couch rolling up her sleeves ready to kill Sagar.

Sagar saw the look on Vidya's face and knew it would be best to run for his life. So he did just that. He ran out of the gym laughing as Vidya ran after him ready to kill. All the maids looked surprised as they saw Sagar and Vidya running around the house like little kids. They seemed surprised to see Sagar laughing. They had never seen him so happy and childish before. Sagar and Vidya reached the dining room and knowing that he had nowhere to go Sagar raised both of his hands and said "Okay, you win!"

Vidya was out of breath as she held her sides. She walked up to him and took a fistful of his shirt and said "I always win!"

Sagar without hesitating took a fistful of her shirt and pulled her closer. "Maybe this time I let you win."

Vidya looked down towards her chest and saw Sagar's fist. She brought her head up and looked at him with furious eyes. "Get your hands off me!"

Sagar smiled and ordered her to do the same. Vidya wanted to punch him but instead loosened her grip on his shirt and pushed him back. "Feisty!" Sagar said grinning as he hit the wall that was behind him. He only laughed when he saw Vidya walking away mouthing something. "Are you going to get ready to go out?" he shouted.

Vidya without looking back shouted "Go to hell, jerk!"

Sagar leaned against the wall as he smiled and said "Ah, the woman of my dreams."

Vidya slammed the door behind her as she entered the room. Two more nights and three more days that was all. After that she would go back to her normal life. She shook her head trying to clear it. How could she love him? He was a jerk, a total rude jerk. She closed her eyes and sighed as she failed to convince herself. She was falling in love with him despite the fact that he was a rude jerk. The man she had seen in him last night was the one she was falling in love with. The man who did not break her trust, the one who wiped her tears when she told him she didn't know what her parents looked like, the one who was desperately fighting each emotion in him. Be it denial, love, hatred, jealousy, and even rejection. She opened her bag searching for her clothes and wondered what would have caused Sagar to steal. Was it a control issue? Was he stealing to possess a necklace because it represented to him something he could control? Had he thought about stealing his mother away from Suraj at sometime, or even tried? So many questions arose in her mind. She wanted to ask Sagar but knew he would get angry. She felt sympathy for him. Not having parents was one thing, but having both of your parents and still being kept away from them must be devastating. She could only imagine. Two more nights and three more days, she thought again and sighed. She sat on the edge of the bed with a sad face. She would never see him again. Just the thought broke her heart. A part of her wanted to tell Sagar that she was falling head over heels for him but then the other part convinced her not to. What would he say? Would he laugh at her? Would he reject her? She thought to herself of all the possible scenarios and then finally convinced herself that it was never going to happen and it was best to forget and concentrate on her job. She grabbed her clothes and headed towards the bathroom.

Sagar was in his room standing in his big walk-in closet. He was having trouble finding his denims. So many clothes, he thought and wondered if he should call a maid for help. He was going to but stopped when he remembered Vidya telling him to do things on his own. He smiled and continued looking. He didn't want to dress formally today. He didn't intend to take Vidya to a fancy restaurant because he knew she would be uncomfortable there. Instead he would show her the city. Maybe take her out to get ice cream and walk on the street. He smiled as he found his denims. He picked a t-shirt and looked at the time. Why was he so excited? He asked himself as he walked out of the closet. It wasn't that he hadn't been on a date before. Well, he couldn't call this a date because Vidya didn't exactly know that it was a date. But he considered it one. He wasn't worried about impressing her. He just simply wanted her to have a good time. He stopped himself as he realized that he never had such thoughts about anyone before. Yes, he was attracted to Vidya. And yes, he had thought about seducing her until she agreed to his terms. But these new emotions, Sagar was completely unaware of them. Even the night before, why did he keep his distance? It confused him. Had it been any other woman, he would have made a move. But she trusted him. Why did he care so much about her trust and making sure that it didn't break? He wanted Vidya but with her consent. Sagar smiled as he shook his head as nothing made sense to him anymore. He failed to realize that it was the first time he gave his "want" less importance because someone else's feelings mattered more to him.

Sagar stood in his living room as he watched Vidya walk down the stairs. She was dressed in her regular clothes. But today she did not put her hair in a ponytail. She let them loose. He smiled when he saw that Vidya indeed was a quick learner because she had learned to put on make-up. He sighed when she stepped on the last stair and noticed she was wearing heels. She came and stood in front of him and said "I am ready."

He could only stare. She looked so beautiful. Sagar was baffled by the fact that he failed to notice how beautiful she was before. Or was he growing accustomed to her? "You are wearing heels" he said.

Vidya looked down towards her feet. "Yeah, the more practice I get. The better I will be able to walk in them."

Sagar smiled and started walking. Vidya smiled as she saw Sagar walking and followed him thinking that he looked pretty good in his denims.

Sagar stopped in his garage and Vidya wondered which car he was going to pick. To her surprise he didn't pick a car. She noticed him walking towards the sexiest bike she had ever seen. Her jaw dropped as she only stared. Sagar saw the look on her face. "This is my first love" he said as he sat on his bike. Vidya had never been on a bike before. Only seen them in movies, John Abraham looked pretty sexy with his bike in Dhoom but Vidya realized John's bike was nothing compared to what Sagar owned. She hesitated and was about to bite her nails when Sagar shouted her name "Don't!!" was all he said and Vidya stopped. He grabbed a helmet as he put it on and grabbed another pointing it towards Vidya. Vidya walked over to him and grabbed the helmet. Sagar smiled and said "You better not act like a lady now and say that you don't know how sit on a bike. You are going to sit on the bike like you are meant to sit."

Vidya put on the helmet and sat behind him and bumped her helmet with his accidently as she looked around for a place to grip. Sagar laughed as he started the bike engine and grabbed both of Vidya's arms and brought them around him and said "You better hold on tight, Vidya. This is going to be one hell of a ride."

Vidya blushed as she bumped into Sagar's back. She locked her fingers in front of Sagar's stomach and smiled under her helmet and wondered where they were headed.

omg di!! woooah...just luved the update. it was cute, funny, and serious at the same time. It was shoo nice to see sv have fun chasing each other and listen to how vidya and sagar feel. keep up the amazing work.....just love how i feel as if im right there. thanks for updating!!👏
