Along the way, there seems to be too much negativity that has steeped into the story. I only wish for some kindness, understanding and mutual respect.

I know so many people wants to see the romance between santu and dharamraj. But in real life apart from Love, romance, ishq so many other things will be there.
This Vidya wrote to me when she saw the video of RR

Ok Anu, i get it now.
You want to know why DM is behaving so passively. It is not docility but suppressed anger!
1. DM is feeling guilty that Arjan was sacrificed in an attempt to save him and he feels the loss of a child whose existence was kept from him, who grew up as a "chotti jaathi" in poverty and devoid of education, whose character left a lot to be desired, and lastly who hated him enough to try to murder him.
2. DM is feeling helpless and frustrated at his inability to help Santu get out of prison where she ended up trying to save him from Arjan. This happened at the time DM realized his true feelings for Santu and his need for her as his wife and life-long companion.
3. DM is also angry with himself and his family. Himself for putting up with their emotional blackmail and his family for their greed and selfishness.
It is because of a mixture of all these feelings and his inability to come to terms with them, that has made him a self proclaimed recluse in his own house.

wow doc
nice one all is understandable abt DM's feelings
but DM needs to be DM, he is suppose to be smarter and wiser than all of them. the fact that he let them fend for themselves n ending up dividing the house is a red alert in itself.
Santu being a stupid mahan is another joke
Resentments towards people who have done nothing but good to you is unacceptable or logical.
How evil triumphs over good is another joke as how it is being show in the show. (they can't even make evil look decent)
I mean RR is a great actor and all but it is beginning to look majorly annoying as aasiya's portrayal of stupidity at its highest rank.
Leena's just looks like rich snob, Mrunal looks like an idiot with the mooch, Baa n bapuji look old n frail.
Birwa is just a copycat, suraj looks lost while kaddu is just there to fill airtime.
what i am trying to say that the writing is so bad as the characters' seemingly reluctant portrayal.
The flaws are so visible it makes them all look pathetic. 🤢

I completely agree fuzz.
They are trying to rein in the wild horses at a time when they are running amok. Somehow, the whole thing reeks of "take the audience for granted".
Aasiya (Santu) has begun to irritate me a great deal with her mad schemes and RR (DM) i think is really in a messy situation, and unable to get out of it.
If in a week to ten days time the show does not turn around, it will be taken off air.

Well fuzz, my mantra is ----
You take me for granted, i move on to greener pastures,
I turn around and see "a pair of swans" swimming lazily in the pond next door. 😆

Other things besides love in life???
Err....in a word NO!
Because that emotion is the crux of all life and all relationships.
Besides, when did we ever say we wanted only romance?
We said we wanted ro see the Dynamics of the Kanji-Moti relationship. Them overcoming their differences and rediscovering the goodness in each other. Is that just romance? I think not.
We wanted to see Maulik and Kanji beginning to forge a relationship. The estranged father-son angle. Is that just romance? I think not.
We wanted to see Santu get a back bone and assert her rights as a wife and DIL of the house. We wanted to see her wallowing in misery and to take a more proactive stance in matters. Is that just romance? I think not.
We wanted to see Champakali treated less like a slave and more like a member of the household. For the wrongs done to her to be righted. Is that just romance? I think not.
We didn't want just romance. But you will see that everything we did want had an underlying element of love.
love doesn't mean merely romance. It means a lot more. Compassion, humility, strength, trust, faith, humanity etc. All these things are the driving force of life. It never was and never is just about romance.
