You're right fuzzy, that show is going to kill Bandini...I just watched a couple of epis, concept is good, actors are decent and it is fast paced, merely two weeks and the main theme has already started, not too much time wasted in the build-up.

I absolutely love RR's acting, he is soooo good that it pains me to see such talent wasted in such sub-standard writing, he deserves so much better. I hope he realizes this and moves on to better work.

I don't know about you guys but to me Bandini is on a path to destruction as I also mentioned in another post. To me the reactions of none of the characters especially Santu makes any sense, it almost seems like the writing is being done without being given any serious thought to who the characters are, how normal people in their places would react to similar situations in life and where the story is ultimately headed, it is very disjointed and uncohesive. I would have expected Santu to be heart-broken to see DM's condition, how her actions have turned such a vital man to a shell of his former self, I would have expected her to regret her actions that she hid the truth from DM and disillusioned him and caused him so much pain, I would have expected her to have immense regret for the time lost, for the separation from the man she supposedly loves but nada......she does not seem to care, she is so caught up with being a mother that she has forgotten to be a wife. I also don't understand how characters can change so much -- I have never like airhead ever since she made a play for Hiten because it showed how selfish and self-centered she was, especially after she eloped but still she cared for her family and there was no love lost between her and her hubby -- it makes no sense to me how she could turn pure evil and all of sudden be so devoted to a husband who she never cared for in the first place, how can she misunderstand a girl who she said she raised as a mother and turn so cruel towards her, can a mother treat her child the way she treated Santu no matter what the child does, mother's love for her child is supposed to be unconditional, is it not.....I would have accepted resentment and anger but such pure evil and delusion of grandeur makes no sense, how can she have forgotten where she came from and who she is.

Bandini might seem better currently but it is a very temporary condition, the very slight rise in TRPs is just due to curiosity, nothing else.....this show is headed down especially with the couple of very promising newer shows. I know my blood no longer boils at the stupidity shown in this show as it used to and I don't care much what happens next because I know in BT CVs hands nothing good can, so whats the point in raising my BP....have no faith in the creative team anymore. They have started resorting to their pet formulas and are not going to stop, so soon enough there will be some other stupidity and then some more until the show is finally canceled....by that time most of us wouldn't care anyways.

Oh...forgot to mention....can anyone understand DM's submission to blackmail.....would the DM we all know have ever meekly submitted to the airhead's blackmail, I think not, it is so out of his character. He would have responded very strongly and would have probably punished the airhead for even thinking of killing a child and blackmailing him....he is such a smart, discerning man, claims to be able to read people's faces, he should have known the airhead would never gone through with it, the child was her bargaining chip. The DM we all know would have simply punished the airhead for attempting to blackmail him and kill a child and would have gone on to do whatever he could to get to the bottom of the truth and get Santu out of jail since he was convinced of her innocence. He would never have accepted such a great injustice as letting an innocent person rot in jail who was trying to save someone from his family, all because of some stupid blackmail.

I agree with you Shalu - the basic premise of this leap is not gelling with me at all. 😕

For me the leap itself is a big stupidity and the Cvs are trying to cover it with another big blunder. Instead of the 9 year leap they could have shown that some few months or so

The reason for the leap was to introduce new characters in the show in the form of grown up Birwa, Mongi and Suraj along with a new set of problems for Santu to solve and to show her win back the affection of the family and DM.....essentially means Bandini Take 2.....the fact that they had to show a leap of 9 years to achieve it during which time Santu was in jail for no reason and was royally ignored by the family who claimed to love her and beleive in her and yet bought her cock and bull story with so many holes in it -- it just shows how lacking the creatives are. I means seriously, the whole premise of the leap and the reactions of all the characters before and after the leap is so lame, I doubt anyone really gave it any serious thought. Other shows manage to introduce new characters and cameos to bring about some freshness in the show without resorting to such stupidity, but not BT......thats because they are so used to their old, stale formulas that they can't think beyond it.

Shalu, nice to see you in the forum again. Rakhie , Chalia ,and Shalu, you all are right. The CVs have totally ruined some of the characters. Now it will be hard to redeem them again. RR is totally being wasted in this show. With his great acting, he will do a fab job if he was only given the great material.

Malli why do you feel RR is wasted here. He is doing full justice to whatever crap he is givena nd i think he is getting more opportunities to show his talent in each and every emotion here. Be it being strict, angry, roamnce or the famous BReyes.. he excelles in every situation.❤️
