Doc must say your subtle romance is very nice. I prefer it a lot more than mushy mushy stuff.

Grest job :D

Chalia, just loved it. Love the humor and romance😆 Santu packed Subhi's portrait too, hhehehee too funny😆 DM won't be looking at the portrait, he will be too busy looking at Santudi in her nightdress😳

Great to see Toral's involvement in this, she is a sweetie pie. She will do anything for Santu. These are the things that should be happening in the story now, not the bacteria boy track.

Hi girls, another week draws us further into mahiyavanshi mayhem land. Ha ha!
1. We rant and we rave, and yet we are drawn back into the forum to visit with one another and chat and curse some more. Good going girls and as someone said repeatedly yesterday, "Aal izz well"!
2. My idea of romance is very private and subtle. I leave a lot to the imagination of the reader because then it opens up a new dream to each and every person reading it. It becomes their very own story. And it is my solemn belief that there is more thrill in unravelling the unknown.
3. During these times of disturbing promos, axes and gore; mind games and war games, i wish the CVs would see beyond the obvious and come back to the good old days of sweet romance, some family togetherness and bonding. The world is a sad place and such political sagas are probably prevalent in many homes. But, still a clean and committed romance never fails.
4. I do miss the old Rajshri type movies with simple plots, clean and subtle romances and natural acting. I realize we must move on to overt things both body and bawdy, but, there is a lot to be said about the beauty so visible and palpable in simplicity.

Yeah, Chalia, simplicity is the best way to go. There is too much exposure these days and nothing left to the imagination. Your stories are so good, without the vulgarity. People of any age could read them without flinching and blushing, hehehehe😆 I don't mind blushing once in a while though😉

Hey Vidya (and Sri_nidhi - who i notice liked Vidya's post),
What is romance according to you?
In my dictionary, romance has different meanings in different age groups and situations. More lasting than red roses, boxes of chocolates, cards etc is the trust, understanding, acceptance and space that for me is the greatest spark in a romance. It adds spice to both the physical and mental parts of a relationship.
Having said that, it also differs among various people because dynamics between people are different. 😆
Please note that i am not denigrating all the "Valentine day specials", dinner dates and red roses. Yes they matter!
For me personally, i need that something more!

i agree doc with all the madness in the world what we want to see is something simple that touches our hearts.
if we wanted axe, bacteria H1N1, murder and mayhem we might as well watch the news instead of the serial.
like shakespeare said 'An honest tale speeds best being plainly told'😊

Well said fuzz, so true!
And here in Bandini, there is everything that we dont want in people's lives.
Sigh! where are the good old days of "Chai malik/ offcentre bindi/ eyelocks/stolen glimpses and Eh Sanntuddi"

Chalia Romance in my words
The way looks at each other, The way the take care of others, the way the express their love (it's not mandatory to touch others to express their love), the main thing the way they understands each other and supports each other. The affection they had at each other
Person can express their in a better way by placing a kiss on other person head/forehead/hand instead of kissing on lips
For example see the scene where DM & Santu was standing at Kodiyaar maa. I liked the way Santu holds DM hands. It shows the affection she had at him
I don't know, how many people will see telugu movies in this forum. but my ever favorite telugu romantic movie's (in last 2 yrs) are
Godavari, Happy Days
I love to see Rajashree Hindi movies
There is no touching or kissing scences in between man & woman. but i loved their expressions.
