DM's personality - Page 2

I am not exactly sure what his feelings are....I wonder if he knows himself....he seems confused and as a result is managing to confuse us as well (good acting Ronit!!!!)....but I do know he has some very deep feelings for Santo.....he is actually putting what he thinks is Santo's welfare before his wishes and even his family's....that I think is a testimony to the depth of his feelings. I think he is in denial.....he thinks Santo's welfare and future is in setting her free from this relationship and is trying to justify it to himself by saying that no one will take subhi's place yada yada yada....the fact that he put her mangalsutra right next to Subhi's portrait means something....I think he already thinks of her as his wife and she has already made a place for herself in his heart and if she is gone, he is going to mourn her as he mourns Subhi, maybe not as openly though.

After watching yesterday's epi, I think my confusion has somewhat decreased. I think DM is not doing anything to stop the divorce because he truly believes that that is the best thing for Santo and he wants what is best for her, and I also feel somewhere he believes that is what Santo wants.....crazy man!!! There were many clues to his real feelings today - the way he was longingly looking at the mangalsutra which to him is a keepsake of Santo and then put it right next to Subhi's portrait, the way he got angry at Hiten when he asked him why he was divorcing Santo as if he did not want to be reminded of it or talk about it -- a sign how distressing he finds it, the way he said that he did not ask Santo for the mangalsutra but that she gave it to him and last but not the least, the expression on his face when he turned away from Hiten in the end - it was so full of hurt and sadness which he was trying to hide from his son after giving him very logical explanations for the divorce which he was hoping would satisfy him. I felt that letting his chokri go is hurting him a lot but he is doing it for his chokri's sake because he truly thinks that is the best for her.....he is sacrificing his own desires for her, that in itself is proof of the depth of his feelings for her.

Hmmmm..... I think the talk with his new therapist (Hiten😛) has resolved the situation for me.

Maybe DM likes santu but doesn't want to move forward due to age gap....... N santu on the other hand thinks her Malik will be only Happy with Subhi n only sad with her...........
