A lot of us were waiting to see what DM tells MB today after Santu's insult yesterday. I know I was really hoping that MB was going to get thrashed. Again I was disappointed!
DM's response was so classic that I think he should change his name from Dharamraj to Taru Ka Memna ( Sorry DM Fans). DM is so delusional and selfish.. so he says We should keep Santu's maan because she is Mehmaan...and when she was the wife of DM then she could be insulted left right and center. Even when MB insulted Santu he tells her don't mind what MB said because she was Subhi's Friend and relative thats why she says all that..Reality check.. DM is so far away from reality that he doesn't even see whats going on in his own house. Thankgod Hiten has come back to his senses otherwise I would have no reason to watch this show.

I am disppointed with him too.I expected a full blown lecture from DM to MB for once, and even though he did it somewhat,he spoiled it the very next moment by justifying her to Santu. This is the first time he has overheard MB's trash talk to Santu.

Also,DM's dialogues were so meaningless today.against his character.I blame the writers for this.Like you said,it sounded as if it was alright to insult if she still was his wife, and since now she is a guest, her "maan" has to be kept.Dont know what those script writers were thinking.

I am utterly confused by this person.Dont know what exactly he is feeling. One moment,he makes me feel that he loves her.The next moment,he is indifferent.

Hiten has totally redeemed himself today.I wish he could make DM see sense.

Hey guys, the creatives are totally confused about DM. They need to be consistent with his personality, instead they go all over the place. They may have switched creative teams, I don't know.

Anyway, Aditi has created a thread to post your opinions about these kind of matters, so that they will all be in the same location. They won't get lost in page 2 or 3 or whatever. Here is the link:

http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1253118

Please post it here, maybe the creatives will read these and improve our favorite characters.😊

I think I have a somewhat different opinion. This is the first time that DM has reprimanded Moti and for the first time I think it was enough....I don't think it would have looked right if DM had gone from saying nothing to Moti to blasting her in front of Santo. When DM said that since the divorce was done, Moti should not insult her.....don't think he meant that it was OK to insult her when she was his wife....it was more of a response to Moti's statement that since the divorce was done, why is Santo interfering in household matters. Also, Moti is his elder sister who has devoted his life to him and his kids and whom he obviously respects, I think it was a big deal for him to even say what he did to Moti and it shows how much regard he has for Santo. I think we are a bit too quick with our reactions, like after yesterday's epi, we all thought that now Santo was going to be a servant in DM's house, but she obviously is not.....but thats OK, provides for some entertaining discussions.

Respecting your elder sister is one thing and enabling her to commit horrible actions is another. I have seen 1000 times where moti ben insulted nanaji and many other people in dharampur.in the name of chhoti jaat wale..If I am a judge and I have the biggest racist in my family how does that make me look and what does that say about me?? She even insulted toral thinking that she was a chhoti jaat wali. She has pushed pulled santu a million times and verbally bashed her infront of DM and DM has seen that she is always putting Santu's name into everything bad that happens in that family. How can it be enough what DM said today? I think it was a perfect opportunity to put an end to this whole behavior MB has got going but he didnt do it. Moreover, I have seen DM talk in a different tone infront of MB and in a different tone when talking to Santu alone. To me that says that you are letting a human being get insulted just so you don't have to say a word about it and listen to MB saying that Nanka that chhoti jaat wali is more important to you.
If he is DM and the leader of justice in that town..then he should act like it.. not allow adharam in his own house while he can tell everyone how just he is.
As far as MB devoting her whole life to DM and his family. Well we all have seen why she is in this house (she ran away got pregnant with kanji had a kid and came back, who knows she couldnt get married because word got around or she thought with her behavior she cant live in another man's house anyway might as well make bro's life a hell) As I see it all the kids were going bonkers while she was doing her devotee act ( Hiten-- the nuts that he is, Maulik - the drunkard, Kaddu- the girl ready to run away from home and I bet she didnt know what was going on with birva and suraj either).. What did she do when Hiten got caught in the crime of murdering manjari (the cow) she asked maulik NOT to say anything cuz she wanted to protect her own kid while her brother's kid could go to hell.. and if DM's brain wasnt stuck in his heel wasting away he would have seen whats going on in his house.

I totally agree with you Bkaur when I was watching the scene I was like what it was fine when she was your wife but not now, I mean he knew she was in the store room and was not accepted by anyone so he knew she wasn't being treated well or was he that unknown to the whole situation?
But Hiten wow he has totally redeemed him self it was a brilliant episode on his part!

SG,

Agreed it would have looked out of place if he had reprimanded her infront of Santu, but he didnt have to justify her either,in her absence to Santu.

Thats as good as saying she is right,in her own way.

Well, the dialogue writers need to smell coffee and be more alert.Thats all.
