The divorce signing scene - I have not watched it yet but I am sure from the acting and performance point of view it must be awesome. However, the whole Santu crying her heart out and all just does not gel well with me. DM took the papers to her and tore them up the first time around. She pressured him that this was the best thing to do and that their marraige was just a compromise. Well, it is still a compromise, she wanted the chutta cheda and she got it. Now they are making it look like DM is pressuring her to do it for Hiten's happiness.

It is sad yes, but somehow I cannot feel sorry for her.

Exactly, and if you watch it oh my god you'd think he'd bloody well beat her into signing it. and AGAIN, though i want it to be so, WHY IS SHE IN LOVE WITH HIM? I can see why he should have fallen in love with her, but what has he done for her, for HER ALONE, to show her that he cares for her feelings? we can all (obsessively) point to bits where he's nice to her, is considerate, a decent person, yadda yadda but i'd like to see one action, that's not for the world to see, but her alone, where he shows how much her cares for her.

And also, he signed the divorce papers like it was nothing, he looked miffed but was like, its for my kid, i don't like it but you know...

Soap-Critic...I don't think it look like DM is putting pressure on Santo. Santo want's her sister to be happy and know what she has to do, but the realization of it is finally here and is real and she has to face the music. I like the fact that she broke down it made it more real for me that she's human not stone. Santo needed to realize the effect of her decision to get a divorce from DM what it would do to her, even though she's act like she's okay with the decision and trying to make everyone understand and accept her decision she herself don't accept but is doing what she feel is the right thing to do to bring two people who are in-love together.

Honestly, Khemi needs to marry bloody Hiten - i think she could sacrifice her love for santu (though that's not fair) but hiten, oh no, the world would come to an end i fear. he's the type of character that would end up cursing everyone from suraj to ba. They need to have them married, happy and we can move on (and ekta ma can fiure out a way for sanraj)

i don't think santu is being super sacrificing. She's doing what needs to be done and what any decent individual in er position what do... i just wish she'd done it with a bit more grace, like our DM... now that, ladies and gentlemen, is class.

but, will hiten even care if he finds out about the divorce? as far as he's concerned what kind of a sacrifice has been made? that of some fake relationship where the husband won't even acknowledge his wife as his wife, and she regularly gets treated like crap. if it were me, i wouldn't think that that's a big thing.
