OMG what an episode... We learnt more about the enigma that is DM throughout the episode, and how... DM at the factory,Dm the dutiful son, DM tucking his youngest,Suraj, in bed, DM trying to talk to his obstinate eldest son, Hiten, DM being the ever kind, attentive husband(to the portrait, not santu) and DM being the arrogant, intimidating husband(poor santu), and DM being the shrewd sadu bhai... Oh how i love DM...
The scene between DM and Santu, was powerful, the chemistry was awesome and the actors were brilliant.. Santu's trepedition, her nervousness was beautifully portrayed by Asiya... Ronit was brilliant in the scene..
And then his interaction with Baa, who was up waiting for him to come.. Who tells him that work is important but not as much as his children are... Spend some time with the kids....
Which leads him to the children's room.. He sees his elder daughter, Kadambari sleeping.. Suraj, the youngest has kicked his covers off, so he tucks him back in and pats him back to sleep.. that undoubtedly was my favourite scene of the day... DM was soo natural... And then he hears Hiten strumming the guitar, and goes to him to tell him to go sleep, so that they can all have breakfast together.. Hiten being Hiten snubs him..
And then DM's breakfast scene.. Subah subah, chuhe e baath karni padi.. Chuha tried to blackmail him, DM shut him up properly... I loved the way he says, badi ajeeb kisam ki aadmi hai...
The rest of the episode was also good.. Taruben did what we all expected her to do, introduce Santu as the maid and then physically and verbally abuse her... Abuses her enough that her ear starts bleeding...
One day i wish that Santu gives it back to her... Right and proper...
P.S- Does anyone else wish that santu was portrayed to be a little bit older...
