Thanks BG for the update. I am really shocked at the way the girls in these serials are so ready to get into bed with the guys they think they are in love with. Have morals no place in our lives any more? Does marriage have no meaning any more? It was bad enough that Magi was doing all the nauseating stuff, now Jeeva too! And I thought Jeeva had some principles! I do not want to watch such episodes. They make me uncomfortable, since my father is also watching, and this is after all these years of marriage. I don't like to watch suntv with my family around me these days.

I guess this may be the point surya start thinking abt Jeeva's true love. But giving body is not at all a tru love. Love is more than anything, which is more than anything. We all love our parents, sisters, brothers, friends, Kids - what does this mean??? very bad projection of love in Bandham -- Thats what i feel.

Meli - I agree with your statement. Even I felt the same.

I guess the director cannot use is own imagination to write his own script for the story. The story is very much predictable including the scenes in every episode.

May be, we can say this as "The director cannot deviate from the norm, the norm being what is shown in silver screen".

It just gives me a good laugh seeing the serial. In fact you can sit and watch this serial with your family commenting the characters but not taking it so seriously.

I am not saying that the screenplay is great and acceptable. All I am saying is you all should have got bored by now as you have seen this scene in many movies before (probably no one sees any movie in their life!!!).

I agree with the point that this is not healthy as these thoughts gets into your minds when it is said again and again. Again it is upto those who want to take it or trash it.

Oh come on, these things happened even in ancient history. haven't you guys heard of the contradiction that dasaratha had sixty thousand wives and rama just one!!!. It is just our mind sets that makes us think that this is wrong. The cultural heritage has been changing day by day and pretty much one that you agree with may not be agreeable to another one. It all lies in the point of view and how you have been brought up.

But, THE DIRECTOR IS DUMB when it comes to creativity and THIS SERIAL SUCKS!!!.

Finally, my point is
1. The screenplay definitely needs a change and some creativity.
2. Such scenes and dialogues should be avoided as it is against the point of view of many of us.
3. But this might not be something wrong in the point of view of an american or someone who is not brought up in a orthodox way like us. So it all depends on the mind set.

Uma... I think they were just trying to portrait the intensity of Jeeva's love towards Surya. May be we should suggest Jeeva to use Nithila's trick 😉 in expressing her love. what do you say people.

Neelambari, I am sure they were trying to show Jeeva's love, but agreeing for sex before marriage is not the way to do it. Agreed, in the US and many other countries in the West, this is not a big deal, but as far as Indian parents in the US go, definitely the ones I know, it is a big deal. Even here in the US, I know American couples who decide to postpone sex until after marriage, so we, who boast of a rich cultural heritage, should not discard our values, in an attempt to seem more modern.

I did not watch the episode so I do not know exactly what transpired, but the description itself made me feel uncomfortable.

hey cool down guys/gals, although jeeva seem to have implied that she is willing to give herself to surya, i suppose its not going to happen. no matter how much surya wants money, i don't think he will do something to jeeva even though she is willing.

but we have missed out 1 point. what if jeeva is testing surya's love? she maybe trying to go along with him to see if he really loves her enough to abstain himself from touching her.

as for the plot, it has really degenerated. it was very interestng from te point of jeeva's entrance. she was so high, mighty and brave to bring aathi down. now she is too submissive to surya and i kinda miss her cockroach feelers lol 😆

although its a mega serial, its best to keep lousy scenes to minimal.

initially i thought this jeeva is right in her way cud guess things easily..........finally no my girl....u r not on ur way.......lets see what is it upto....


may be surya's character might change from now on.....may be again.......at least by now he shd understand jeeva well......lets see.....
