Anandi never remained middle class - that is the irony of this serial. She was middle class till 8 years of age and then again for 5 years when Bhairo decided that she has to live with her parents for that period - otherwise - it was always haveli and wealth - she never have to struggle or do anything without support of strong and wealthy people.

@ bold black: So in other words, you agree that parents are replaceable, (especially when they are the reason for one's life to go haywire), and can be replaced by those who help in re-building your life?

Just because Bhago-khajan were not foresighted and gave into social pressure of child marriage, they became commodities who could be replaced in Anandi's life, by the very Singhs (BH folks), who were an equal party to the wrong, but had the wealth, power and newly acquired wisdom to re-direct Anandi's life. So Anandi chose them over her own parents.

All Singhs were responsible for ruining Anandi's life (unintentionally), and everyone (B-K or B-S/ Dsa) realised their mistakes only after J ditched A. They all wanted to do good to Anandi now, for the unintended wrong they did to her. So why didn't Anandi give a chance to her parents to set her life right once again by going to Bilaria?

Simple, because by this time, Anandi had chose to replace her parents, so much that she didn't even know her mother was dying of guilt.

How can a wise woman ask an ex wife to ask her ex husband to remarry? -Why not? When the same ex-wife can zoom out of the house in an angry mood to search for her missing ex-husband, or defend him to the family for going to Mumbai, and so many other things which she shows, she is still interested in his life. Why can't then someone request her to talk her ex,, as a well-wisher?

That didn't mean Anandi had to lose her senses / wisdom. She could have politely tried to know what is in J's mind, and given him time to think. Did she have to go bonkers and become a bully?

Ofcourse Dsa has wisdom and tact, Anandi lacks wisdom and direction both.

This wise woman wanted anandi to come back in Jagya's life and discard Shiv. -

Wealth can be used and also misued. Dadisa used wealth to buy brides and insult poor people.

Anandi used that power to good use. She did not go on a shopping spree to buy things for herself.

Anandi did not replace her parents. She just added BH people.

Anandi did not bully him. Toral did not know how to speak dialogues in the first place during her initial phase. She talks very fast.

She adopted Jaitsar and so she started her work there. One is free to do so in a democracy. Why should she start her work in Bilaria just because?

@ Bold: That was neither the point of objection or discussion.

The point of discussion was " Are mothers some commodities to be replaced?" In BV world - Yes.

Where Anandi didn't know anything about her dying her mother, Nandini walked over Mangala like a trash, and Nidhi is jumping with joy to have a step mother without sparing an emotion for her own mother.

@ blue: regardless of the dialogue delivery, the underlying essence in Anandis words to Jagya showed how immature she was, and how much she lacked wisdom and tact.

I would not put Bhago and Mangala in one group.

Bhago Khazan Sumi Bhairon Dsa also Urmi's parents when they did child marriage of their children they were under the misconception that they are doing it in the best interests of their children.

When they all realised how wrong they were lives were damaged.

When Anandi refused to go with Bhago she didn't take her refusal to heart but like a true mother that she is she went to Sandhya teacher admitted that she was wrong and asked Sandhya teacher to guide Anandi. That is the reason why Sandhya teacher went to Haweli to meet Anandi.

When Anandi refused her mother's support the mother didn't give up on her.

Both Urmi and Anandi refused to go with their parents when their marriage broke and they chose to stay in with Sasural for the same reason except Anandi put forth her reasons in a milder manner while Urmi was blunt.

As for Anandi and her relationship with her parents post her separation from Jagya was not given the screen time it deserved probably due to the actors unavailability or what ever reasons. But they did convey through conversation that Anandi and her parents were in touch with each other.

Bhago was heart broken but that definitely was not because her daughter choose to stay with Singhs but more to do with what happened to her daughter.

Bhago strongly believed that a woman's world revolves around husband and Sasural.So for her even if her daughter was doing well in life despite broken marriage that was not enough she wanted her child to have a husband and a happy marriage. Anandi knew that her sarpanch ship and social service are not enough to make her mother happy because her mother belonged to old school where a daughter with broken marriage is considered a burden.

In spite of the strained relationship there was a selfless love between Anandi and Bhago.

Mangala can never be like Bhago or even like Urmi's mother. Simply because the child was a toy to play with and not a life which needed to be nurtured.

If Anandi gave in to her mother and married Shiv it was because of the love and trust she had in her mother and her love for her.She knew her mother would never do any harm knowingly and what ever her mother did for her had only been for her good.
