Anandi replaced her mother Bhago with Sumitra. All was fine when she had two mothers, but after being left by Jagya, when Bhago came to take her daughter, she chose her new found parents over her real parents. Even that is not so bad, but can one believe that, Anandi never ever bothered to visit her mother once or to keep a check on her, until her mother passed away out of guilt and deteriorating health?

Nimboli doesn't want to stop hating Mangala, even though she can't help thinking of their good times.

Nidhi, is all so happy to have to Anandi as her mom. To some extent this is understood. She knows her parents are separated, so hoping to have her mom back to dad is probably far-fetched. But not even sparing any thought to the woman who gave birth to you and raised you, is definitely mean.

The only person who never walked away on his mom was Shiv. He did not ditch Ira. He loved her and respected her just the way he did before knowing the truth. Even Ira gradually came to accept the reality and allowed him to make his choices without imposing anything on to him. Shiv-Ira and Ira-Meenu were the best forms of relationship I saw on BV. What those three did for each other and how they balanced their lives, love and respect for one another, was one true example of family bonding. It takes lot of courage and patience to do what all of them did.

I loved Shekhars for that and I miss them.

Bhago behaved like Mangala. She forced anandi to go back to Bh. She also cut her education and favoured child marriage for her daughter. Sumitra encouraged anandi to have education and she along with Bhairon gave her space.And anandi did not discard Bhago at any point of time. She herself was tring to recover from a big mess. She respected her mother's wish inspite of not loving Shiv at that point of time.

Everyolne need not folow rulebook to answer. Anandi wanted to remind anant of his first wife. He is interfering in her life and so she has right to interfere in his life also in her own way.

That is exactly what she did, while trying to force Jagya for third marriage.

Dsa had lot of wisdom and foresightedness, when she was building up plot for Anandi's second marriage. Right from Anandi's divorce to proposing Shiv, Dsa was taking wise and clear cut planned steps for Anandi's better future.

But Anandi had no wisdom, or sensitivity to Jagya's turmoil, while pushing jagya for a third marriage. She just wanted to impose. And when the guy said, he needs a break to re-build his life, she reminded him of how useless he is if can't fulfil his family's wishes, blackmailed him, and ultimately selected Saanchi for him.

This is why I say, she tries to replicate DSa without wisdom or foresightedness.

You are forgetting that it is dadisa who almost begged anandi to do so with tears in her eyes.

Bhago was very clear in her principles. While her daughter was BH's beendni, she expected her daughter to do everything to please her sasural folks. She was not even blind to the mistreatments Anandi received in her sasra, but as a mother of a married daughter, she wanted her daughter to adjust and make a happy living out of it.

When the same mother realised that her daughter no longer holds the beendni status, she made sure her daughter doesn't stay back to go through more pains.

Bhago was the first one to go to Sandhya teacher, to show light to her daughter whose future had suddenly turned dark.

What Bhago did with her daughter's future was not with an intention to ruin it, but simply followed a tradition like all mothers of her village / culture did.

Bhago was a dotting mother. But Anandi had already made her life. She had become a sarpanch and also received award from CM for her work. yet she had no time to call / inform her parents of how well she is doing in life. Her mother was dying of guilt and Anandi had no clue about it - This is quite equivalent to discarding one's parents without being vocal about it.

What was the point of later fulfilling a dead mother's wish (that too at a cost of someone else's emotions), when she couldn't spare a thought while the mother was alive?

Ofcourse, adult Anandi chose to replace her mother to suit her own needs.

Dsa asked A to talk to J as a trusted well-wisher, she didn't ask Anandi to bully him

BHago could have visited her daughter or phoned her from time to time. What prevented her from doing so? Anandi started working in Jaitsar and so she stayed there. It is those people who stood behind her. Her own mother spoiled her life in the name of tradition.

She did not ask her not to bully him. She gave the hard part to anandi.
How can a wise woman ask an ex wife to ask her ex husband to remarry?
This wise woman wanted anandi to come back in Jagya's life and discard Shiv.

Her mother was not alone in destroying Anandi's life - everyone including Bhairo was culprit. But Anandi chose BH because it suited her. Why could not Anandi call or visit her parents when she won awards etc.? Naturally, BH provided wealth and opportunity because of being the most powerful family of Jaitsar - and her parents did not have that much. What Bhago did when Anandi ran away - any mother will do that - try to make the girl understand that she has to adjust in her sasural. Even urban girls are also taught this.
