Why Nimboli cant be taught at home under Anandi's supervision?

Why cant Anandi bring colorful illustrated books for Nimboli to get an interest in books?
Like Amar Chitra Katha?

Why cant they show interesting child oriented TV programs?

I also hated school in the beginning. My father taught me and told me stories and showed me books about those stories. He first taught me how to sing Jana gana mana. We used to have photos of all freedom fighters at home and listened to stories about them. Nowadays there are wonderful kits which can hook the kids and make them thirsty for more knowledge.

Nimboli is 11 years old and ideally she should be in 6th standard or 7th. But she lacks basic education. So will she join KG?

What about filling admission forms? What they will write when asked about parents' names and place of birth? Under what name she will get admitted? Wont her friends at school come to know about reality and let her know about it?

Anandi can teach her at home.
But school is not just for education.School is a way of life for a child.

Child's life at that age should revolve around school which includes school mates and all the other activities.

Nandini has not seen the inside of school and there is no one who cared whether she went to school or not.

She had a different life altogether which was not right for any girl of her age leave alone Nandini who actually belongs with the life that Anandi and Shivam are leading.

Once she starts going ot school and embraces school life the rest can come from Anandi who can help her catch up with Shivam with extra effort

I think the child not wanting to go to school must be a combination of things.
What little experience she had in school has put her off for some reason which they need to go into.
This is something natural for children.

Next reason Jhalra lady's manipulation. She used that child's disinterest in school and her fears of Akheraj and Kundan.

Anandi may put her name as the parent.

Even the court has accepted the fact that she is the child' mother.

Looks like Anandi has planned a different way to educate her child.Starting with extra curricular activities and then move on to academics.

Right now it is more about getting her to accept a life which is actually meant for her.

Anandi's school must be getting exemptions because she takes in child brides whose education has been interrupted along with regular students.

System should be flexible enough to meet the needs of the child.

Rabindranath Tagore also hated the regimented school system and he was tutored by private teachers at home. He started Shantiniketan which laid emphasis on all round development catering to artistic instincts of students.
We need schools which will make school dropouts a rarity.
It is good that BV is tackling this issue as a social problem affecting parents and children.
We can take a horse to the pond but we cannot make it drink water.

Shivam and Abhi should play games like scrabble in front of Nimboli which will make her feel what she is lacking.

Anandi always gets exemptions - just because she is the lead - she can open a school without being much educated and it got government's support also😕 and she can open an institution like SN where she can admit any student perhaps in any class. Who knows - Nimboli might soon outshine other students - just like Shivam was when he was in BH.

I can empathise with the child because even I hated school.
Way back then there was no play school concept. It was regular school.I was put in KG the moment I turned three and had to take my lunch box to school too. Can't remember how I managed with the lunch box though😆

Even now when a part of my work involves academic activities like taking classes conducting exams evaluation students still these things put me off I try to remember why I disliked these forced lectures exams etc and try to do these things in a little different manner.
We can't change the system but at least can work around the system so that it becomes a more child friendly process.

To open a school, one dont need degrees. Just motivation is important. How many educated people are motivated enough to open schools and forgo safe jobs?

As for Nimboli getting admission and higher education we have previous examples in BV itself.

Nowdays I am reading that brightest students graduate at the age of 13 itself and they give exemptions in such cases.

Forget Anandi is the lead and think what she is doing inspite of not being a post graduate or PHD.

Government inspects the school's infrastructure and staff before giving support.
One doesn't need to be educated to start a school.

Don't we hear and read in news about how some barely educated philanthropists start schools out of desire to do something good?

Anandi may have started the school in a small way when she was a teenager but that doesn't mean she was the sole teacher in the school. She had Phooli joining her later on.
She may have built up a team of teachers by the time it became regularised and got government aid.

Same with SN.school.

When government itself is keen on ensuring that girls don't drop out of the school and child marriages don't happen and has the responsibility of rehabilitating the child brides obviously they will make exemptions for the kids when there is a need for it.
