if Ratan Singh had truly changed, he would never have emotionally blackmailed Ganga for meeting Mannu. He should have known that it would destroy his son's peace of mind. I think he was still thinking about only himself till he died. Never once did he care for Ganga's feelings or his son's future.

Mannu's relationship with Ratan is biological father son relationship which is and should be independent of Ganga Ratan relationship.

Ratan Ganga equation should not be part of Mannu Ratan relationship.

While Ganga is fully right to punish him for what he did to her and how he tried to snatch her rights as a mother she has no right to snatch Mannu's rights over his father or Ratan's rights over Mannu.

Mannu should have gotten an opportunity to assess Ratan personally to decide what kind of a man he was and then accept him or reject him according to his wishes and sensibilities . He was denied of that decision making right.

Why should he decide based on others assessment of a man who was his father?

I agree Aparna.
But I would give benefit of doubt to Ganga that she was still preparing herself to tell Mannu everything and events took place too soon. she couldn't let Mannu meet Ratan in jail, even Ratan wanted that.
After that they lost touch till Anandi came back with the news.

May be they want to highlight a point how Indian children not able to digest second marriage of their parent. reason can be anything and specially if mother want to marry second time.

what ratan has emotional black to ganga inorder to meet mannu ??

then its wrong bcoz 2day Indian kids hav bcum much more broad minded esply in case like ganga & Aji or asha case.

don't know why shud bimla turn -ve now just bcoz ppl still bit apprehensive of trusting her & her son or reminded her her selfishness etc.

He didn't reveal truth to Mannu.

It is clear that Mannu and Jagya are paying price for Ganga's wrong decision which was taken out of her own insecurity.

Even if we ignore Ratan's rights there are Mannu's rights which have been ignored . It was Mannu's right to decide what kind of a man his father had been and it is his right to make a decision based on his own perceptions.

His outburst of emotions on seeing his son did everything.
Why did he have to gift that chain. He could have given it to Ganga.
Is this not claiming rights?
Mannu is still below 18, so parents need to decide what's best for him.

and how ratan did not care about mannu future , did he not tell ganga in jail that if mannu live with me he can become criminal like me and can land mannu to jail so u should take mannu with u and give him good teaching .so how ratan did not care for mannu future ?
ratan has not meet mannu for 11 years .but ganga forgotten her promise to ratan that she told ratan she will let mannu with ratan in between
