I said a while ago that Jagya has been made Shivam's foster father, and people said I'm imagining things.

My point was this was bound to happen when they stay under one roof and J is the only adult male in the family.

Now Jagya is saying it in so many words.

There cannot be a bigger travesty than this..

There is no Shiv, no Ansh and no Shiv as even as a shadow father to his children-- children he longed for and doted upon. The way he cried on knowing he was going to be a father.

What injustice CV that you've made Anandi reconnect to her blotted past and filled Shiv's place with Jagya.

Is there no better way to take BV forward than by showing flashbacks of JaAN and rewinding to their childhood pranks?

And to rub it in further by showing the same mustache incident in the life of Anandi's daughter?

THIS is so off putting and unrealistic. Why should poor Shivam not have his own home? I'm so angry with DS for compelling A to stay in BH and yet fail in giving her child the comfort, security and independence he deserves.

Well, those complaining about Ansh butting into Jagan's life, the reverse seems to be happening now, and how!!

Really, is it viewers' demand to see Saas bahu saajish or makers' inability to think beyond saas bahu drama?

I thought Ekta kapoor's serials started making loss due to over dose of saas-bahu.

I thought people found BV unique and interesting because it did not have Saas bahu.

I clearly remember people showing displeasure with the entries of negative characters like saanchi and DB

I clearly remember people applauding Anandi for both physically and virtually slapping Jagya for his misdeeds, choosing to make someone out of herself in adversities and finally living blissfully with a man like Shiv.

So technically, what exactly suggests that people (viewers) like meek leads, and want to see Saas bahu drama only?

It is ok, if some section of viewers find Anandi's actions justified and can make sense out of the current story line, but that does not generalise that people are interested in Saas bahu saga and complicated relationships only.

It's simple: Makers cannot think beyond saas bahu and they do not want to end their show which had come to it's logical end way back. So they are continuing the show even with illogical tracks. As long it works commercially well, they will go ahead with it.

Let's not blame viewers to justify creatives' inabilities.

Makers cannot think beyond Saas Bahu saga - why does every show fall back on this saas bahu drama?
Every show which starts out as something different falls back on this when the TRPs fall.
I remember a show on Colors channel - which was so different about a girl who grew up in Chambal valley and because it didn;t get TRPs they converted that into Saas Bahu drama in the most illogical way and then they shut shop
Then there was another one about a girl who has ambitions of becoming business magnate and started off taking on a big business maganate and ended up as Bahu no 1

These are the shows which used to be my favourite but turned into saas bahu drama s for commercial purposes.

So why blame the makers alone - why don't people watch when something different is offered to them?

Then why only saas bahu sagas and complicated relationship stories are topping the list now?

Whether we admit or not BV is a family drama and Anandi is bahu no1 beti no 1 and they succeeded as long as the family drama element and the messgaes that they wanted to give through the tracks came out well

There were many tracks in BV which were purely social message oriented like Anandi's school track adult education track and her social service tracks - which never really saw any heights

The TRPs came from the family drama Anandi slapping Jagya that had all the elements of commercial entertainer and also everytime Gauri travelled all the way to Jaitser and put down Anandi the TRPs went up - what was that ? Souten drama packaged in social message or is it social message packaged in souten drama?

Why is it objectionable if we talk about viewer's tastes? Why do shows where leads getting married and unmarried and remarried get the most viewership? Why do those soaps make more money?
Why all the saas bahu sagas and sopas where a truck load of women trying to out do each other inorder to get the keys to the safe make it to the top ?

All the top shows have one or all these elements - Shows obviously become hit because of the no of people who watch it.

Why blame the makers alone for trying to appeal to the single largest denominator? Are they here for self less purpose or are they here to make money?

Sorry but it is two way street.

If Ekta Kapoor went out of business it is because of people if she is back doing the same thing then it's also because of people (viewers)

so reason behind Anandi Shivam in BH to create stupid drama finally lead ...
CV Writers are so predictable ... Abhi might not like Anandi Shivam getting more imp may be soon his mom also start feeling bit insecure
Its most disgusting track if CV show

Now it is clear that they don't have story for BH couple so they are using Anandi and Shivam to give them some story🤢🥱

If they wanted to show Anandi coming into her own and give her endless problems while she brought up her children they could have done it in Udaipur also. They can tell a proper story about single mother raising her kids by coming up with as many twists as possible and it can be done anywhere J aitser or Udaipur
The only reason is now that they don't have story for the doctor couple they brought them into Anandi's life

I so hope Anandi moves out but CVs will not do it🤢

Indian society largely revolves around family life, culture, traditional values, respect for elders and relationships. So shows will work when there is a family drama or family element to it.

But that does not mean that we want to see complicated relationships, illogical obedience by the leading lady and her senseless sacrifices just for the 'sake' of the family. Neither do we want to see the pure black characters whose sole intention is to break someone's home at whatever cost.

There has to be a balance.

BV upto 2012 made lot of sense. Even then, it went through various technical faults just for the sake of drama but still the show was logical and acceptable.

What are we seeing now? A wave of UNWANTED complicated relationships, where the lead lives with her Ex and his family, despite being thoroughly capable of living on her own?

Is this what viewers wanted?

If the CVs never had any story they should have ended the show respectfully. Because I don't think that the current story line will fetch them any better TRPs.

Sorry, but it becomes objectionable when a generalised statement citing viewers' psyche is used as a defence to justify makers' incapabilities.

It might be the most disgusting track but I m sure it will earn trps... at the end fate of show depends on trps... one member in this thread pointed out interesting points like is badi haveli isn't Anandi s home she is daughter of house so daughter has equal rights on her granny s home... if jagya wouldn't be in picture then I guess we would not have problem with Anandi stay in BH... Now gehna also has two sasurals. So gehna can't stay at BH anymore... Gehna, nandu s childhood... everything happened at bh.

They say lesser evil is preferable. For me, BV is lesser evil.

If there is a girl and boy, there will be marriage.

If there is marriage, there will be sasural with saas. Unless the boy is an orphan.

If there is saas, there will be bahu saas interaction.

If there is no saas bahu drama, the other woman drama comes into picture.
Husband becomes villain, torture wife.

There are some shows which go against the tide. One or two serials. They were highly interesting and with good stories.

I did say that BV worked fine when the drama was combined with a social message in a way that seemed logical.
I did say that when the drama element overtook the sense like it did now it has become unappealing

If they wanted to bring their theme back they are welcome to do it and if they wanted their lead to be bahu no 1 beti no1 and yet the same time revolutionary activist they should make sure there should be balance. That's what I said about the lead.

Why deny the fact that complicated relationships attract more viewers?

BTW isn't BV about complicated relationships? Pakke rishte of Kacchi umar?

Why people are still watching it?

They want to see how anandi will meet her daughter.

How the daughter's life move forward if she is taken back by anandi.

How Shivam will react to his twin sister.

Will anandi stay forever in BH.

I dont think this is saas bahu drama.

As a viewer, I have never appreciated complicated relationships whether it is BV or any other shows that I have seen in the past.
I did not like the idea of SaJa coming together, because it would question the equation in JA-An's relationship. Similarly, I cannot take Ja-An in the same roof with Ganga and all those 4 kids in concern.

As a viewer, I protest the mockery of relationships shown on TV.

In past (in other shows), we have seen cases where one brother marries a girl, then they divorce for some silly reason, and then his younger / older brother marries the same girl and then they all stay under the same roof.

I don't think viewers like illogical complications / situations beyond a point, and that's when they start giving up.

Even the track of Saurabh with SanVi in the same roof was disturbing, although I never had any objection with SanVi marriage.
