why are the cvs asking basant to leave - Page 2

What I understood is that Bhiron and Sumitra wanted to leave because their role was stagnating,now the news of Basant's role ending is a bit strange,we as viewers can accept one character going off (for eg Anandi's devar Mahi went off or his incomplete love story with Ashima)
But the entire jaitsar familys' senior characters leaving is a bit odd.
Btw why is Basant's character ending ?any inputs by anyone ?

Its a money thing. All shows keep an eye on their star cast salary bill and to keep evolving they need to add on more tracks and characters. And every new character costs so the only way to keep the star cast salary bill constant is to let go of an older character. It happens in every show. Its a simple question of economics - its just that we are feeling bad because Basant was there for so long.

To me Basant is only killed off to add drama in show and drag the story further Now cvs will get plenty of story to comfortably finish this year Basant and Gehna's main story has been over Now they were just a part of Jagya and Anandi's family and both actors did not have problem with their screen space so what is cvs problem ? What does the entire Shekhar family contribute to show ? they are just Anandi's inlaws so why cannot Basant be shown as a member of Jagya's family ?

I think basant s character was contributing more than what I see so caled"main lead" of the show in the top most picture of this forum contribute.can anybody justify that basant s character was irrelevent. Yes, some people just want still pictures of so called main lead and mahaan anadi for half hour daily. For them other characters are zero. Anyway, anadi got collector, ganga got doctor and gulli got an NRI. 😉

The only ones contributing for he story and the show are shiv and anandi..remaining can be either killed or sent away..

Saying that Basant's death is punishment for his past acts is not acceptable. If it was so, then he should have been shown suffering before dying. But the death he got is a honorable one saving his mother.

Its not only injustice to kill the character of Basant and ask the actor to leave the show,its shameful and disgusting.He is an actor so its OK to ask him to leave but if would have been a normal job nobody would have accepted this kind of shameful act.

I hope creatives are planning to end Jaitser track.Every single important character is disappearing for what!To show Sanchi and Gulli's story.If it was the matter of not getting any story for a character then I believe Anandi and Jagya's story ended long back and thats the reason they are dragging the show with silly characters.Supporting characters doesn't expect track on them,they remain happy giving reactions in the story,this applies on Satyajit,he didn't want to leave,how could they ask him to leave saying your character is going nowhere so we are ending your character.He is there for 6 years.

When the truck ran over him I bursted into tears,for what a side character who was not important!Why Gehna will have to give message after getting widowed.Why can't she work along with Basant and Basant and her geting little issues and whole Jaitser family solving the issues.They are making Gehna widow to get her married again not to show the great idea of widow handling her family all alone.They have awesome record to get every single person marry.

Its their show,their personal property who are we to comment on that but killing a character who was their for six years when the actor was ok with screenspace disgusts me!

But I am happy that they gave him a death where he died to save his mother.The mother whom he loved more than his life though he was not born through her.Thats the only good thing of killing him otherwise these creatives deserves the downfall.

Every single Shekhar member irritates me and now the irritation will increase much more for them.Some characters had such impact that we can never expect or want them to leave the show and Basant was one of those characters.
