A trauma of lifetime is no big deal?? the taunts of society is no big deal?? the inner turmoil is no big deal?? and what about the child?? how much would that poor thing have to endure?? our society has progressed just for the sake of it...it isnt much different today in terms of thought process than what it was 20 years ago

and are you saying that Saurabh did a favour on Sa by not burning her alive?? just becoz its Sa over here - nobody deserves this!! however horrible she has been,...this was not what she WANTED!! it was done against her wish and was not consensual...and what abt the harassment part of it - the MMS bit?? !! we might hate Sa for her nature - but here its about a dignity of a girl which was taken away!!

The horrifying and heinous atrocity committed upon Sanchi, is the consequence largely of her own idiosyncrasies. Her stupidity and self righteousness remained unchecked due to mother's blind trust on her. She believed that Sanch's mind set has changed. Sanchi's planning and plotting with the sickening mentality lad made her prone to his malicious plan. Really feel sorry for her but hope she will get out of all this trauma since she has an adorable bhabhi the Joan of Arc and lionhearted brother( Singham) to teach Saurabh the lesson of his life.

This is the worst thing that they could bring upon Sanchi in the way of education and social awareness. Rape is not pleasant and to heap that. But I hope that they show it sensitively and not elders telling I told you so and way of comparison between City breds and village breds.

I really want them to show how traumatic it is for a rape victim, and how much of sensitivity she needs from the parents and her family during this time.

But at the end of it I would like it if they can show Saanchi recovering and with her head held high goes about getting justice. That is really required to spread the message that rape is not a shame for women, but is a shameful act by men who see women as toys/playthings. Women do not lose their respect, honor when they get raped but it is the other way round. For once I hope they show it the way it is.

Sorry disagree with you there.

Sanchi is to be blamed for not recognizing the danger, but are many gullible girls in that position. How much can it be blamed only on her deeds or her mothers trust.

Rape by itself is most attrocious and if a prostitute is also raped, it should be condemned equally. Since every woman has a right on her body and every woman should be respected for that.

No.

Being sexually assaulted is not something that is 'handled'. It is not something a person should face alone. Providing support is not interference, it is love. If a person is being preyed upon then it is the responsibility of not just bystanders but of society at large to step in and protect the victim.

Being educated, intelligent or having a friend does not mean that a person can simply recover from a traumatizing incident. A girl's dignity, body and mind has been violated and no degree can restore that.

So Sanchi should be thankful that at least he did not burn her? She should be relieved that a boy she supposedly trusts only took advantage of her, drugged her and exploited her for his own needs by taking away her right to choose. That he only raped her?!?!?!

No big deal in what times? I live outside of India in a Western country and I can assuredly tell you that a child being conceived and born from rape is a very big deal. For the mother, for the baby and for the families involved. And being a single mother is one of the hardest roles in the world. Adding the responsibility of a child who was conceived by force does not make it any easier.

Being a lady, I feel this is a sad news. Sanchi may be the worst character in TV world, but still she is a girl and it is difficult to imagine this incident as her punishment.Creatives have made Sanchi's character very unreal so it is difficult to say whether this track is for creating sympathy for her, for her redemption or sinking her even further. However, I agree with some members that since creatives handled Gahna's case sensibly, so even now it is expected that the track at least will not be gross.

Let us wait for the actual episode before further comments. But I wish they show it as an informative track and not just for drama or sympathy. Sanchi is an educated fool, but her brother is a Government officer, who should know the rules. This is the opportunity to show what should be done in an unfortunate incident like this. They can show her medical exam immediately and doctors taking samples to match DNA etc. Dos and Donts in such cases should be shown for the information of the viewers. Since Shakhers are not illiterate villagers, I hope they will not utter words like ijjat or honour etc.

Sanchi is stupid enough not to recognise the danger and her mother is gullible enough to believe that her daughter has changed but Sanchi's stupidity is not reason enough for her to end up in this situation.It is the man who took advantage of her and her is more responsible for this.

Agree with your point here, that many gullible girls are subjected to such heinous crimes and such an act needs to be condemned.

But in this case, particular to Sanchi, had she been little level headed and mature, she would have tried and avoided Saurabh, especially after the advances he made at her own home.

In spite of not being comfortable with his advances, she still blindly went ahead , based on HER perception of him, which is obviously foolish. She neither cared for Anandi's advise, nor Payal's words.

She started to drink at the party, and obviously, that would make her lose her bearings and sense as to what can happen with her.

How can we not condemn her actions here ?

She had a chance to recognise the danger, yet she overlooked that chance, because of her own ego and mind set.

In this case, she got this upon herself, mostly due to her own actions.
