Part11-Life at stake
Six months have passed since the wedding and Anandi and Shiv were enjoying there lives as parents.Even tough they both had very tight work schedules they didn't miss every chance to see there little girl. Amoli was growing fast.She said her first words a couple of days ago.Anandi and Shiv were both there and were both really happy that they made a little celebration for it.Today Anandi came from work early to hear her little girl crying.
Anandi: Oh,my baby is crying.She must be hungry,but were is Shivani ji?Shivani ji?!Shivani ji?!
There was no answer.
Anandi:That's odd.
She rushed in Amolis's nursery so fast that she forgot to close the door.Inside Amoli was sitting in her crib crying.She took her in her hands and started singing her a lullaby so she would stop crying.
Anandi:What's wrong sweety.Why are you crying?Are you hungry?
Suddenly she heard foot steps.She thought it was Shivani ji.When she turned around she was dumbstruck.Sanchi was holding a gun to her forehead.Ira was right next to her.
Ira:Oh Anandi Anandi...So dumb of you thinking that I won't get what I want.
Anandi:What are you doing here?What do you want from me?
Ira:Oh from you,to give my granddaughter to me.
She reached out her hands to take her but Anandi took her away.
Anandi:Never...Over my dead body.
Sanchi:That could be arranged.
She said putting the gun on her forehead.
Anandi:Fine kill me but how will you explain to your granddaughter and niece that you killed her mother.
Sanchi:Oh like we were going to tell her.
Anandi: Ok you won't need to explain anything to her,but what about your son?
She said to Ira.
Anandi:He already hates you.
Ira:Oh just shut up!We won't kill you,at least not yet.
She pulled her out of the house.Anandi was holding Amoli real tight.She didn't want to let go.They put a blindfold on her eyes and pushed her in a car.They drove of to some unknown place.It was some kind of abandoned warehouse.Anandi was really scared.Not for herself but for her little girl.
Meanwhile...
Shiv came back from the office finding the door open.
Shiv:That's weird.Anandi must have forgotten to close the door.
He went to the room and nursery finding no one there.He went to the kitchen finding Shivani ji laying there unconscious.
Shiv:Shivani ji!Shivani ji wake up!
Shivani gained consciousness.
Shiv:Shivani ji what happened?Where are Anandi and Amoli?
Shivani:Oh no!Sir your mother...she came with your sister here and hit me in the head with something.I think it was a gun!
Shiv:A gun?!Oh no!
He quickly called Anandi on her cellphone but she wasn't answering.He decided to call the police.
Shiv:Hello...I would like to inform a kidnapping.Yes,a kidnapping...of my wife and daughter...I don't care how much work you've got!I want you to find them now!...You know what I'll find them myself.Thank you...for nothing!
He decided to call his mother.There was an answer.
Ira:Oh look who finally decided to call his mother?
Shiv:I don't have time to play games with you!Tell me,what did you do to my wife and daughter!?
Ira:I have no idea what your talking about.
Shiv:I told you no games!Where are they?!
Ira:They're fine,for now.
Shiv:What do you want for them?
Ira:From that idiot of your wife?Nothing.I just want my granddaughter.We'll probably get rid of her.
Shiv:Just shut up already!
Ira:Oh really?Make me!
Shiv hung up on her.An idea came to his mind.He quickly drove to the police station leaving Shivani ji home.When he arrived her rushed inside.
Shiv:Excuse me can I talk to the chief inspector?
Receptionist:I think he has an interrogation.He will be done soon.
Shiv:But this is an emergency it can't wait.
Receptionist:Just tell me your problem and I'll see what I can do.
Shiv told her everything about the kidnapping.
Shiv:...And that's why I need you to locate this number...
Receptionist:Oh my god...I'll see what I can do.
They took him to the inspector on duty and after half an hour they located them in the old warehouse.
Shiv rushed there with a police squad right behind him.They broke in there and saw Anandi sitting in a corner holding Amoli in her arms and Ira and Sanchi with a gun in her hands sitting at a table drinking coffe.
Police Officer:Don't move!
To Sanchi he said:
Police Officer:Drop the gun!You two are under arrest!
Shiv:Anandi!
He rushed to her and helped her get up.He took the blindfold of of her eyes.
Anandi:Shiv!
She said hugging him tightly.She let him go seeing the police officers.
Shiv:Thank you officer.I don't know how I can thank you.
Police Officer:There's no need for a thank you.We were just doing are jobs.
He said and left in the police car with Ira and Sanchi in handcuffs.
Shiv:Anandi are you okay?
Anandi:We're fine.
She said hugging him tightly.He held her like that for a while not wanting to let go.
