Niddhi Agerwal was rescued by security after being mobbed at the song launch of her upcoming film The Raja Saab, an incident that triggered concern online.

The event was held on Wednesday evening, December 17, at Lulu Mall in Hyderabad. The makers organised the launch to build excitement around Prabhas’ next release. Director Maruthi was also present at the venue, which saw a large turnout of fans.

As the event concluded, Niddhi attempted to exit the venue and head towards her car. That is when the situation turned chaotic. A crowd of fans surrounded her, pushing and jostling, leaving the actor visibly uncomfortable. Videos from the spot show Niddhi struggling to move as people pressed in from all sides. Despite repeated requests, the crowd did not make way, forcing her security team to intervene.

Fortunately, security personnel managed to create a small passage and escort her safely into the vehicle. Once inside the car, the actress appeared shaken. No injuries were reported. The visuals quickly went viral on social media, drawing strong reactions from users. Many expressed disappointment over the lack of crowd control and questioned arrangements made for the event.

Meanwhile, The Raja Saab continues to generate buzz ahead of its release. The film features Prabhas in dual roles and stars Niddhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. Nayanthara is also set to make a special appearance.

Malavika Mohanan marks her Telugu debut with the film. Before finalising the cast, names such as Raashii Khanna and Sreeleela were also considered. Directed by Maruthi, known for his work in the horror comedy space, The Raja Saab is slated for a multi language release in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on January 9, 2026 nationwide.
