Ds's moh hasn't gone anywhere. J said she stopped asking for parpota once she got to know about G's condition. NOT true. She refused to give away baby clothes; she said a miracle will happen. And she went to temple and astrologer seeking parpota. She and whole family has been relentless in baby jaap. As skep said not one person mentioned mannu. And G -- cant stand her now; she is as awful as she was good and convincing earlier -- goes on and on about giving waris. Did she even think once think through this? This means mannu is not and will never be BH's waaris.
Why does BV harp on adoption on one side and talk abt waaris, apna khoon and genetics on the other? And how come DS hasn't once asked why A is not planning a family? Is that all her concern for A? She wants her own parpota on day one of j's marriage and absolutely no interest in what's happening with lado? I'm very very glad A is not obsessing over having her own child. Am glad shekhars are letting A and S do what they want. But i'm just pointing out the double standard of DS in the matter of j's and A's child. One has to happen here and now and the other...

@Rohini55

Totally right!

DS was relentless in baby jaap and visiting pandits, talking about it nearly every day, hoping for miracles showed her desperation.

All her so called guilt and shock was fake yesterday.

Yes it's her craze for apna khoon which is why she is forever obsessing over J's child but never even casually remarked about laado Anandi's child.

I bet the Singhs' bias will not end. The baby is already coveted as it is Jagya's own blood. And now that it will survive with miracles, bhakti and penances performed by family, it will get lion's share of all love, care and attention in the house after its birth (and maybe throughout life).

Mannu is going to be royally neglected. Poor baby's own mother doesn't think about him. The way Ganga scolded only Mannu but rushed to manaofy Nandu few episodes ago, proves that she takes Mannu for granted and is more inclined to please Singhs.

Everyone's like "Mannu toh hai hi".

I do not expect Ganga to balance properly between Mannu and new baby. Rather Jagya will have to remind everyone that Mannu exists.

Am sorry i cant control myself. Surekhaji's acting was superb and the transformation they showed in DS was also good. But the message remains completely unacceptably regressive and anti- women. Why could she not take her vow saying she will not do whatever till G emerges sahi salamat instead of mother and child? The emphasis should have been on "tum Ganga". The absurdity is endless. DS has two great grand children from suguna who count for nothing because she is a girl. How can BV even show this nonsense? Obsession with not only waaris but the male child. Why cant she chado sone ki seedi with her existing par pota and poti? Why cant A tell her you have already climbed the seedi instead of empathising with her DS?That would be progressive and A-like. Next thing you know , a will offer to lend her own khok -- in case g baby doesn't happen -- so DS can chado seedi. I thought i spotted a glint in A's eyes after talking to DS. I'm afraid for its meaning.
I've begun to hate the words apna khoon , waaris, khok and such. Heard nothing but these words in the last 2 months in bv. Do normal people talk like this? Just imagine someone saying: was i born of your uterus? Sick this is.

BV has done its bit for removing the stigma around widowhood. I liked anandi rubbishing DS's talk about abshagun and persuading her to wear mehendi etc. But BV has failed miserably in attacking a fundamental evil: Son obsession which is at the root of our patriarchal-feudal structures and the skewed relationship between male and female. Till this is strongly questioned, every social message will be just a superficial timepass or one of BV's stupid voiceovers. Shiv was like a breath of fresh air when he insisted that the females of the household sit down together with the menfolk for dinner. In his family men went into the kitchen to cook. Where is all that? Male and female stereotypes have reverted to with a vengeace. A stands with a tray while the men do taarif of her cooking. All the progressiveness of the family has vanished and the initially sensible Ira is now on the beaten track of apna khoon and mera beta,mera khok etc. and meenu, she was so elegant and classy and matter of fact. I was really impressed that she offered shagun to anandi without any hoo-hah about her being a widow. It is so heart rending to see her being transformed into this weepy, red-maanged, red-sareed, red-lipsticked dulhan forever falling at her pati's feet. He is clearly put off by the bhayankar creature in front of him but she just wont let go of the patni devotion act. Meenu has aged by 10 years in her red dulhan avatar. Even j and gauri were a normal couple. He cooked and cared for her. Now he is the pathetic helpless husband of a weepy, stupid waaris-giving machine.The least BV can do is end the pretence and at least stop the preachy voiceovers. Saas bahu is bad enough but saas bahu with pretensions is worse.

Does anyone remember that scene where Anandi challenges shiv and shows him how it is possible to bring the nehar to jaiser? It was a brilliant scene. Shiv who had started out looking the typical arrogant male boss was bowled over by her smartness and spitfireness. Before shiv's arrival she had convinced his team that the arrangement for the inaugural would be good. She had planned out every detail on her laptop and she wowed them with it. Where is that spitfire? Where is that intelligent village woman? why has bv turned so regressive? Bv was the only soap from colors stable that made any sense. The rest were crappy beyond belief. No woman ever had a career in their other soaps. And if one did have a job, it would be to save her family and it would end quickly enough with her getting pregnant on day one of marriage. Dulhan swapping, incredibly plotting, evil in-laws , not one serial was even worth a mention. Bv despite all its stupidity avoided these staple soap tricks. Alas no more.

you should look at some of the old posts when shiv's family made entry...every one was thinking oh thye are so good and all members had already made such creative future planning for ansh tracks...many of them thought anandi will spread alok's hadicraft business in jaitsar and impress her in-laws...but look now what happened...anandi is impressing her in-alws by taking care fo the spoilt brat saanchi...BV doesn't lack story or character...it lacks creativity...sometimes i feel we forum members should be in story editing team of BV...then BV would have been so good

I am not able to understand your 6th wish... Why should Hethsingh kidnap anandi now ?🤣
