How can Alok act as a custodian of Ira? I cannot even imagine somebody hiding such a big truth from his spouse!
If he thinks Ira will not like an adopted child, so be it. Ira as a person has every right to decide what she wants. If Alok thinks Ira cannot bear the news, that still does not justify hiding the truth.
What kind of married life Alok and Ira have? One keep secret and and treat the other like a small baby who needs to be protected from the reality.

Ira should walk out of the marriage. We cannot call this kind of relationship as marriage, it is better be called as just an occupation of employer-employee kind !!! The employer tells employee only whatever is required to do the job function. Nothing more. Nothing less !!!!
