Singhs always had it easy when they were treating others badly, insulting their beendni's parents and making life hell for the beendnis. DS got away without even asking for forgiveness - at least to Anandi's parents or Gahna's parents. DS and Basant were the cause of death of Basant's first wife - they did not ask for forgiveness to her parents or got any punishment. So it is only fair that they have to forgive Shakhers this easy - they got their own medicine this time.

True DS got away with loads of nonsense.I don't think anyone can forget how she treated Anandi's parents,Sumi's family and Gehna's family all because she was from boy's side.
How can anyone forget how she treated Anandi's parents?

If she got it this time it was for all that she has done in the past.

Not every mistake can be punished by sending people to jail.

But what goes comes back.

Did Anandi's parents desrve to be treated the way she treated them? No.

Did Singhs desrve to be treated the way they were by the Shekhars ?No.

Somewhere life catches up with everyone.

As for Shekhars I think it is a huge insult to be rapped in the court of law for misusung the legal system and they were paying the price for their blind love.

Shivraj Shekhar the upright collector now have to live with the fact that his own sister has been fined by the court for misusing law and convicted for an attempted suicide.

They did get punished by the court and for a long time they have to pay for the price of not bringing up their daughter properly and they pay it when they face diffculties in mending her life.

So nobody is getting away.

Very well said Aparnauma. 👏 I am firm beleiver in Bhagvad Geeta. Every one pays for their
good and bad karma. Mostly in this birth itself. If we die before paying for it, it catches us in the next
Birth. This is the most profound statement. And also every body has a right and chance to correct
Themselves and go in the right path. If we make even a small attempt,God enhances it and
Envourages it in his own way.
All these days I was mad at Shekhars. But today i was not and I even sympathised with them for
Their plight though they deserve it.

Pain and suffering are always inevitable in Indian families...at times relationships create the problems and some times ...associations and attachments solve them !
Although she behaved differently with her daughters in law in the past !---Dadisa preached values today but conveniently forgot her past deeds !

Dadisa has not forgotten her past. The wisdom we see in her is a result of the lessons she learnt in past. I remember a scene where she cried for Anandi's parents and feeling terrible for the way she treated them in the past. Now she can't undo her past. So the least she could do is give lectures to those people who ill treat their bahus and behave arrogantly because they are ladkewale. If Anandi's parents have been able to stand up and tell her off she may not have been so arrogant. So I do feel she has learnt her lessons.
