If you watch closely the poor people in the slums are more happy than the ones living in posh localities with all amenities. Anandi inspite of everything tried to be cheerful. and she did not ask them to get a Collector by fraud. She was happy teaching and doing her kind of work.

Ganga is a person who thinks about herself, who does things of her interest and who lives for herself. Anandi is the one who fought for others like phooli, asha, daayan woman etc etc...without expecting anything from them. After getting cheated she had all the support she needed. If she wished she could have done many things just for herself. But she chose to fight for others. That is what made Anandi special and the lead of the show despite having some flaws of her own. Anandi was , is and always the lead of the show because she works on broader goals.

Maybe for your uncle and your cousin, the engagement getting broken was a "small" issue but for someone else it may not be. Definitely the best solution from your perspective might be to forget and move on with your life. But for me it would definitely not be. And your uncle and cousin are not my role models.

Sure I would move on with my life but I personally would not make it easy for the other person to move on with his ... particularly if he married someone else two days later after breaking off engagement with me. The "oops I made a mistake in judging compatibility" would not gel with me at all, but I would accept it in isolation. Coupled with marrying another girl however, I would NEVER accept it. Maybe others would judge me undignified in the approach of taking revenge, but I dont care.

I feel that if we just keep on making excuses for people and saying "whats the point of pursuing this?" people will just keep walking all over us. And it's precisely this mentality of keeping quiet that allows rapists and criminals to walk all over women. And defintely it affects the woman's personality too. Because her "voice" and "sense of self" is then repressed and killed. I think it is perfect that saanchi is speaking out.

Also, as to whom will marry saanchi after the court case, I think it is a good thing, because only a strong man who is serious about saanchi will marry her. People who are interested in "time pass" with saanchi will never come into her horizon. By doing this, saanchi sends a clear message out that she cannot be toyed with and dumped.

My parents are all for teaching people lessons when others mess with them including filing court cases😆😆😉.

We do move on with our lives but by making sure that the other person does not escape with impunity.🤣🤣

Even if jagdish is found to be innocent by the court, this court case will still represent a lesson to him in terms of loss of face, money, irritation, days off from work. We can all move on with our lives but we dont need to make it easy for the other person to move on with his.
