Yes Jagya's advocate has to be tactful and solid, because Sanchi has been hiding facts. And Shekhars are using their influence a lot in this case.Basant's argument was foolish. Bhairon would have decried it if it happened in his presence. DS was also bewildered at what he did. He was asked to negotiate, instead he ended up putting fuel in fire. Such matters need tact - and tact does not mean to be sweet or bear everything, it means you be firm, clever yet not go out barking or losing control of the situation.

I wanted basant to ask daddu if you feel jagiya is characterless why did you approach us with sanchi's alliance for jagiya

Nice post
There was no use in asking for out of court settlement, when shekhars arenot in a mood to hear jagiya's sideI wanted basant to ask daddu if you feel jagiya is characterless why did you approach us with sanchi's alliance for jagiya
Badi haveli is not Anandi's maika.

Rightly said...this are the so called educated, classy, elite family from Udaipur...Yesterday Basant was right on when he said that for a bunch of educated folks, the Shekars are stooping to levels he'd have never expected them to.
Jagya did break an engagement a few days before the shaadi was supposed to happen. This is something to regret because it's sudden and comes as a shock to both parties...but to call him a womanizer, one needs more proof...did he lead Sanchi on? Did he try to seduce Sanchi and use her? Did he use her money or her family for anything? He rarely called her up...he never touched her. If he had so little respect for women, why would he save them in situations where their honor is at stake along with their whole lives? It's all illogical...over dramatic, overstretched drama...Shekars are really reaching her by telling the Singhs that we have solid reasons to believe that your son uses women and then tosses them away...Truth is, he never mistreated Sanchi...he was never rude with her or cursed her. I've seen men walking around calling women the B word, abusing them, looking at them in lust-filled ways, none of that happened here.
They basically just want to humiliate him and take all eyes off Sanchi even though she attempted suicide which demonstrates what a weak minded girl she is, it shows her insecurities...it reveals that she is a danger to herself...even when things were going her own way, she behaved in strange ways in front of the Shekars revealing her obsessive nature.
Now they'll bring out his past. He'll face it and go forward because he has that resilience and capacity but here the Shekars don't have the patience even to take Sanchi to a psychologist, what a pathetic "educated" family.
yes koolsadhu1000, I know that the end result will come from the unravelling of her friends (and then all of them will go to jail under section 306 😆😆)... but I cant see the logic, so am waiting to see how the writers will establish the link between what ankita said and what saanchi ultimately did.
@bold, the educated family and uneducated family- both are behaving same way. Educated family suddenly remembered past marriages of the person with whom they were going to marry their daughter and uneducated family (just to show contrast - there are educated persons in Singh family) thinking what is the big deal - it has happened in past - neither Anandi nor Gauri tried to suicide - so it is the weakness of Sanchi - Jagya as usual will spend his time out (of badi haveli) and when the family thinks the punishment is over, he will be back. Why Shakhers are taking the matters to court? What is the big deal if Jagya broke engagement and married another woman in two days? It is Sanchi's weak personality (they do not know it is her fake personality) that she tried to take her own life.
