Of course BV is only fiction.

But the main protagonist applies different rules for different people. When you start doing that you lose objectivity. Anandi has no problem to take police when it is other people's lives that are involved. But when it is her people, she does not want the stigma. She hushed up so many things starting from DS, Basant to Jagdish and sanchi.

The entire BH people are criminals of varying degrees and they all must have been taken to task long back. But CVs have a soft corner for them and they wont face any punishment.

Anandi has this habit of shielding offenders in her own family. She hid all of sanchi's misdeeds.
In the process, she became double faced.

Unlike BH people, I think Jagya will be brave enough to go through court proceedings.

I am really shocked and amused that sanchi lying about bribing pandit is taken so seriously.

In that case anandi should be punished more for hiding Jagya's adulterous affair and his sin of committing bigamy by marrying gauri by bribing the court itself.

The entire BH people should be punished for allowing child marriages, buying brides from impoversihed families, allowing marital rape and hiding everything from the law.
