Actually, yes! It is just a small connection that ends in the delivery room IN THIS PARTICULAR CASE.
There cannot be a lifelong connection to taisa on the basis of that delivery.
It is a one time transaction, for which gehna will forever be grateful... but ganga cannot keep milking that relationship for a lifetime.

Why do you refer to me in the plural ? Which guys? I've looked around and don't see any other guys.
I am an independent operator and I have the courage of conviction to stand up for myself. 😆
Yes topic was about rakhi, and my post too was a direct correlation to the rakhi issue. There is a broader picture forming here, and it is my opinion that ganga needs to make a clean break with the singh family including gehna and bhairavi.

so what does that really mean in material terms? It means that they don't want to take a stand for her.

What is the use of everyone "liking" her but not doing anything for her?

Actions speak louder than words.

Just calling somebody a "daughter" doesn't really mean anything unless dadisa is willing to go to lengths to treat her likea real daughter. Has she treated her the same as anandi and suguna?

In fact, if Jagya had been injured in the attack or in the hospital, nobody else would have cared about ganga. It is only because Jagya is okay that he could run after her and save her on the rainy night and give her hospital quarters. None of the others cared.

And dadisa too did not come for the explicit purpose of giving ganga blessings for Mangalore. That was just a cover-up before she could reveal her real reason - to ask ganga to stop jagdish from Mangalore.

I am not bashing ganga, but sometimes I feel she still has an ostrich like approach with her head in the sand.

Okay fine, at one point they were nice to her, but then something has happened where the relationship has broken or atleast has cracks in it. She can cherish the good memories but she cant take it much further than that now.

I don't say that she is like Suguna and Anandhi but atleAst their views are not same as Sumi. After leaving Haveli Ganga actually helped in Gehna's delivery and saved them and everyone was happy except Sumi. And Ganga didnt interact with Singhs after that. And the last one was Dadisa'd meeting with her and Dadisa blessed her and left with tears. So in her point of view Singhs are the only people who love her. So obviously she miss them, I don't see anything wrong with her view.

I don't attend all invitations I receive.
I distinguish between "courtesy" invitations and "real invitations"... both in family and office life.
So too, Ganga must develop a skill to differentiate what is a courtesy blessing and what is a real blessing.
Even if the rest of the singhs love her, the relationship is odd because they will not want to skirt around sumitra or have "secret secret private private" talks with ganga on the phone or on Skype.
So, at this point, because of sumitra, ganga will HAVE to break relations with all the singhs.
Infact, why did ganga hang up the phone when sumitra picked up?
If ganga was so confident of dadisa's love, she should have asked sumitra to give the phone to dadisa or gehna.
But she didn't. Why not? Because Ganga knew dadisa will not like being put in the middle of Ganga and sumitra and the prospect of having to choose sides.

Relationships are twisted in BV like any Ekta show.

I was laughing at that Bhairavi-Mannu rakhi dialogue! 😆

BTW, Singhs are Anandi's maayka, Bhairon & Sumi are her parents and she's daughter of the house. So why doesn't she tie Rakhi to Jagya? 😛

I think she understands quite a lot ...she left the haveli on her own without waiting for Sumitra to burst out ...Dadisa said 'samajhdaar hai ' in a knowing tone

She also immediately understood Dadisa's purpose for visiting iand did not take it as a mere social call to see Mannu and her out of affection and immediately promised to MAKE Jagya stay put for the engagement

She sensed Sumitra's hostility and thinks about it even after she left haveli and does not talk to her sensing the hate but decides to talk to the more neutral Dadisa who though sides with Sumitra does not hate her exactly

The insensitive one is Anandi who simply smiles and smiles at Saanchi's obvious hate and does not give it a second thought ...sometimes i wonder if maturity is equated with insensitivity in this serial .

Kools, really good points. Ganga knows very well what are various members' feelings for her. She is most comfortable only with Jagya and when he calls her, she feels quite happy even though she has no expectations of being in his life in any personal capacity. With other family members, there is a distance though she feels a lot of love for Dadisa who too has given her love. I don't think Dadisa hates her at all, but family comes first for her. And she too prefers Sanchi for Jagya even though she did wonder if Jagya would be happy with Saanchi. I think eventually she would go for Jagya's happiness because he has always come first for her. She went to the extent of breaking Shiv and Anandi's engagement because Jagya begged her to get him Anandi. So she may not like the idea of Ganga as the wife for Jagya initially, she is more open minded than Sumitra any day.

I agree with what you have written about Anandi. She was really good the way she was adamant about rejecting Jagya and marrying Shiv. But she has been disappointment as far as Sanchi is concerned. IF she is a social worker, then she also needs to stand up for herself even if that angers Ira. That means not tolerating Sanchi's hate. She did tell her off for insulting her father, but it was very mild.

Kools, insensitivity is being equated with mahaanta here. Also they want to create saas-bahu track for Anandi/Ira and that's why Anandi has been dumbed down now. She would side with Jagya eventually (at the last minute) thus creating acrimony between two families and bringing Ira/Sanchi's anger on her.

That's why I only watch to see Ganga's story whom I want to see becoming independent and gaining confidence in herself, before getting into any relationship.

Me too Angie , Anandi's attitude stupefies me , she has been dumbed down

she voiced her uneasy dissent AFTER the proposal was taken but did not speak up a day earlier

she started out with uneasy instincts about Saanchi but fell for her dramas and was exactly as blind as Ira and the rest of the Shekhars

she did an about turn to the extent that she decked her up lovingly for engagement with her ex and this absolutely abnormal attitude was called 'badappan' by CVs

Even in this drama phase Saanchi has not been exactly courteous to her and slipped many many times . Saanchi has , infact , been like a prickly jackfruit since day one , a perfect 🤬 to her but she smiles and fobs it off and lectures men outside in their personal domesticity but not once has she garnered guts to show offence taken or told her saas respectfully but firmly , u have SPOILT her .

Infact she has done NOTHING though Jagya agreed unwillingly to stand in the marraige market giving credence to HER mediation . She did not bother to tell him that she overheard Saanchi 's conversation with her friends ...if Saanchi has come in her life some months back Jagya is known to her from childhood . The marraige may have failed but a relation remains . She owes it to that .

Maturity is equated with insensitivity and odd behaviour with 'badappan'

Actually I was wondering like many members here why did anandi not tie rakhi to jagya ?? . Singh's are her family. So, jagya is her brother and suguna is her sister. So, she should tie rakhi to jagya. How is shyam her brother. Shyam is her Jeejaji. If shyam is her brother then does that mean suguna and shyam are brother and sister ??
Why is she crying buckets Inspite of having biological father, adopted father, mother, brother, sister, Jeejaji, grandmother, tausa, tayisa, little brother, henpecked inlaws...people can still relate to this crying. But, Ganga is a orphan with no one and feels sad when separated from the people who showed some love to her in her entire life and people cannot relate to that.
