Ganga when she was introduced, did not show strength but impulsive and total lack of logic.
If she was bold and tough she would have run away from home before she got pregnant.As Shinya mentioned she ran with the child without taking anything for the child. When JagiaOffered help she declined it very rudely with out even thinking. Even when she knew he was a decent guy. But even though she ran out on impulse it was the best thing she could have done.In Singh's house she gained her strength . She is definitely very smart and perceptive. That isWhy Ds has respect for her thoughts. Only place where she has become weak is with love for J.She should put it aside and be brave. I guess that is what love does to you. It is natural for anyWoman to fall in love like that. One can not compare her to A in an unfair way. A had a strongSupport system. She had loving parents and Mil and Fil. Who did not diminish her.In Ganga's case every one diminished her. Though J diminished A in his worst period, she gotLot of respect from others. In fact J's allowance depended on her. These are all very powerfulSituations. So in my opinion Ganga will be equally great like A if not better. DS is spot on.
There is no question of comparing Ganga with A in this matter. A loved her husband, had supportive parents and in-laws, only her husband degraded her. Ganga suffered abuse since the time she was married and had the courage to withstand it and flee from there. I admired her because, in serials, the leads just suffer, shedding buckets of tears but doing nothing to counter the torture. She wanted to flee at first opportunity, it was her bad luck that while trying to flee, she found out that she is pregnant. She stayed perhaps because she thought that since her husband and in-laws want a child, perhaps now that she is pregnant, everything will be OK. When things did not change, she tried again and again to flee. But as Shinya said, now I agree that fleeing with the child without any money and without any proper planning was foolishness.
