i don't know what Cv's wanted to show the present Track...a women like Ganga can became a self empowered woman or Like a girls can fall in love and married to a Rich Guy ...If at all she marries than we should get about her settling on her own legs ..either way i am not happy with the track ..their some thing missing to connect with track
Perhaps CVs just want to show a fairy tale where the girl will eventually marry a rich guy, after a lot of tears due to some rude vamp, an angry (would be) mother-in-law, fighting against her criminal husband and love before divorce, may be some misunderstandings in-between like old Hindi films and lots of gyan in their Voice-Overs.
You have a point. I loved Ganga the way she was introduced, woman fighting for her rights wants to be independent and raise her son. But after getting into haveli CVs have slowly made her charecter debatable.
@TM - I agree with you... this Ganga has turned out to be a total disappointment.
I remember having an argument over Ganga with another esteemed member of the forum. I feel ashamed that I supported such a character once ...
Nevertheless, her character is not butchered is what I feel now ... She was always acting like a coward... Running away from a situation is not at all a sign of bravery, if that is what some people think. You got to stay where you are and solve your problems with proper plan of actions.
But everytime ganga was shown acting on the spur of the moment without going into the depth of her problem.
She ran away from Ratan's house not only without making any plans but also not taking a penny along with her. She took the child along with her, but she did not think how she was going to feed that child. Maybe her plan was to beg on the streets along with the child.
To her luck, she found Singhs who were kind not only to give her shelter in their house but also to help her stand on her feet by studying nursing couse. They are not indebted to her in any way, but they are doing it out of humanity. But madam now wants to leave that house because her dream man is marrying someone else.
Her fugitive character is showing up again... she is pressurising Jagya while alone with him to get her admission asap... she wants to go away from that house, moreover, she wants to go not because she wants to start her career but bec she cant see Jagya with another woman. What a shame to womanhood ...
In my view, she is not at all a strong woman. She is an escapist who runs away when the circumstances are against her. It shows her fickle character.
