Ganga was a strong woman when she was introduced. Somehow I do not like the current track, as it is too far away from reality. Ganga did not trust men (but she was so overwhelmed when DS talked to her lovingly- she sure missed some maternal love), but now she will tell all the things only to Jagya. She is now crying like a weak person. The story could have taken forward differently. Jagya rescued Ganga and she was given shelter in haveli. After recovering fully and after she was reunited with Mannu, Ganga decided that she has to be independent. She knows that she is not educated enough, she does not need skills required to earn a living:
Scenario 1: Haveli people insist that she is not a burden and can live with them, but she is hesitant. Bhairo understands that she is a genuine person, in need of help. He suggests Basant to adopt her, because Basant-Gahna wanted a girl. DS agreed and Ganga continue living in haveli as a daughter and started her studies to become self-sufficient in future. Her second marriage may or may not happen.
Scenario 2: Haveli people insist that she is not a burden and can live with them. Ganga agrees but says that she knows household work and she can work for them, she wants to become self-sufficient. Haveli people are hesitant and say that she will not be a burden, but Ganga insists that she will live with them only when she is allowed to work. DS relents and fixes sufficient amount to be paid to Ganga for her work. Or Bhairo could have given her loan to start her own co-operative (achar/papad making etc. - the work she already knows) with other women of Jaitsar. Side by side she continued her studies.
Scenario 3: Haveli people insist that she is not a burden and can live with them. Ganga informs DS that she was moved with the way she was taken care of by hospital staff. They pulled her from the jaws of death. She wanted to work in hospital as a token of gratitude. Since she was unqualified, she wanted to work even as aaya in hospital. Lal Singh/Jagya/Bhairo agreed to employ her in place of the ward boy, who tried to kill her, on the condition that she will study and get necessary qualification. Ganga started working in hospital. She continued her studies and with time, got qualification of nurse.
These are all hypothetical situations because the story has moved on and what they did show is Ganga living in haveli like a bahu/family member, confiding only in Jagya, now in love with Jagya, weeping and saying (to herself) how can she see him with other woman, passed 10th class in two months and applied to nursing college- that too in far away bangalore/mangalore, without even completing 12 th class. She has presumed that she can get all her expenses paid - hostel fees, court fees included by Jagya/Singhs.
Even now they can show her inner conflict - her inner-self asking her why she changed? Why she wants to marry Dactar saa instead of becoming self-sufficient? Singh family has done so much for her, why she is not happy in their happiness?She should not tell anybody about her love for dactarsaa and she should moved on and concentrate on her studies etc. The story can still be made realistic, but we know that Jagya will break his engagement for Ganga - exact situation will be known when the episode is aired.
