@bold above, In the traditional household of badi haveli, do you think they celebrate birthdays with cake? Ganga made the cake (and dhokla) perhaps because of Anandi, otherwise DS/Sumi asked her to make traditional Rajasthani dishes. Did they show that DS gave permission to Ganga to make cake and then bring it for cake cutting by Jagya?

The cake politics and using cakes to signal future tracks was stupid on part of BV CVs!

As far as cutting is concerned, why the drama? Couldn't they bring two knives and have Jagya cut both cakes simultaneously?

Aise hi drama karte hain! And they stretched it as if it was a matter of life and death!

The scene was clearly made to show competition between Ganga and Sanchi.

i have seen them bringing cake several times 😕this is not the first birthday they are celebrating a birthday who said to you a traditional family doesn't celebrate birthday with cake and moreover don't you know Singhs family have opened their minds for many new traditions also😳 otherwise the old DS would have given one slap to Ganga not helped in preparing the skit

why they need to show each everything come on understand something on your own too They had shown Ganga has permission of DS to do the arrangements and the cake idea was given to her by member of family who IS Sumi and DS 's life Anandi

and my goodness why is that so much focus is on competition logic ? even if cvs lets say did a competition so what ? This is only a show They have to entertain in their viewers isn't it ?

I they are showing cake competition, why not we can say it? They think they are entertaining us with such silly competition, so we can object it, who knows they can see it in forum and not show us such things in future.

I expect ganga to be a woman than a girl like sanchi. Thats why this disappointment. Ganga is mature as she is a married woman with a child. Jagya so far showed only friendship and nothing more towards her. As such, she should be shown in a better way who is beyond schoolgirlish competitiveness.

Suppose there is going to be a rishta with a perfect girl in looks and behaviour and approved by everyone, what will be the state of ganga?

For the sake of sanity, I hope Jagya marries ganga because any other girl coming as wife to Jagya has to tolerate ganga hovering around Jagya all the time. Ganga also does not want Jagya married because that will distance him from her. And this feeling she expressed openly.

In that case, sanchi may go away with bitterness to Udaipur but ganga will be there forever. Just imagine the new girl's condition!

I expect Ganga to be wooed by Jagya than the other way around. Jagya should take the initiative in this respect. He should start thinking about ganga. Now he is more interested in mannu than ganga.

@blue, agree. In fact Ganga is mature except for this silly drama.

I don't think that cvs showed any competition from ganga's side.The competition was always from only sanchi's side.Ganga brought that cake already,she was walking everyone was watching her.She went to bring that cake after her performance.So she couldn't know that sanchi also brought a cake.Then when she saw sanchi's cake first thing came on her mind that sanchi's cake was beautiful and also big,so she felt inferior and sad,thats normal.I don't think anandi gave jagya any hint and jagya cut the cake by reading anandi's mind.Ye kuch jyaadahi ho gaya.Just like the uniform issue created in yesterday's thread.If siddharth and sonia danced on jhalak wearing doctor's and nurse's costume and used wheelchair which can be sensitive for handicapped people,that doesn't mean that they disrespected doctors and nurses.They were not showing any professions just dance.So if I think its disrespect then its wrong because entertainment is entertainment.Serious hone ka bhi limit hota hai.Anyways jagya was going to cut sanchi's cake as the candle was lit in that cake.That time anandi came forward and lit ganga's cake's candles that time jagya realized that both the cake is ready to cut and he has to choose between two cakes.Both the cake was brought for him,both of them were looking beautiful,then he decided to cut the chocolate cake as its his favourite.It was shown normally not at all that dramatically which is mentioned in some posts.Anandi didn't hint him anything.She saw ganga was not lighting up the candles so to cheer up ganga she did it.Thats it.We were discussing in shashank's AT that jagya ke ankhon kuch dikh raha hai last two episodes mein.Though cvs are not at all showing anything like that.Just as a JaGan fan mujhe lag raha hai.Waise hi shayad some people are thinkinig that jagya has listened to anandi's unspoken words and once again anandi saved the day for Jagya.Though for me it was clear that Jagya cutting ganga's cake first was fully his choice as he loves chocolate cake compared to pink cake.And if it was somebody else in sanchi's place she would have think ganga's cake is not that royal in front of my cake so her cake should be cut first as she already feeling bad.But its sanchi so she felt jealous and sad which is normal for her.Ganga was not tensed that whose cake will jagya cut first she just felt bad that her cake was nothing in front of sanchi's cake.Competition to bohot dur ki baat hai.But when jagya cut her cake first she felt happy like any normal girl.Uski cake pehle katne se sanchi ki cake ki shaan thodi si bhi kaam nehin hui.But unluckily jagya got a call so he couldn't cut that cake otherwise he was going to cut the cake.

i think ganga didn't compete. wen she brought cake her expression on seeing sanchi's cake was like that oh theres already a cake here.

This is one of most Worst track i have ever seen in the BV 😡 🤢...
