How silly! Cake politics

the competition between ganga and Sanchi is turning out to be too silly. Anandi used to be so dignified in these matters.

Take Sanchi disrupting the dance abruptly.

Sanchi getting the 3 tier cake grandly and asking Jagya to cut it.

While ganga also comes in with a cake of her own followed by hospital staff.

What I liked was anandi lighting up the candles on ganga's cake.

Sanchi waiting expectantly for Jagya to cut the cake and Jagya hesitating as though he has to choose between life and death.

And Jagya cutting Ganga's cake first. I felt that it was wrong. As Sanchi brought the cake first, he should have cut her cake first.

And Jagya could have spared 2 minutes cutting Sanchi's cake too before leaving for the hospital. Suppose Jagya got to go to bathroom urgently. Wont he have spent 5 minutes in the bathroom? Or will he leave controlling all those bathroom functions?😆

And Ganga looking as though her life depended on whose cake Jagya will cut first. She has become silly following Sanchi's footsteps. She could have graciously asked Jagya to cut Sanchi's cake first. Anandi would have done that. First time I felt irritated with Ganga's behaviour.

nice post...😊
what i liked the most was anandi clearing the confusion for jagya...her gesture of lighting the candles was very good and sensible one...that was one interesting bit.
another one was shiv signaling anandi to follow him...that was real hubby like...liked it very much..😉
other than these, i agree this cake politics is going too far...jagya should not have hurt sanchi's feelings as well..atleast as a friend.

I am surprised to see how CVs have started butchering ganga's character.

And what I loved that Ganga did'nt blow the candles on her cake..lyk pls cut my cake first. She didnt said a word..but expecting from Jagya to choose her cake was not wrong. What Sanchi thought? when Ganga did all preparation she didnt made a cake for Jagya?if some one eals was in Sanch's place then may be I felt bad but not for Sanchi... I loved Ganga's expression after seeing Sanchi's cake...in on thing m totaly agree with you I hate this Sanchi Vrs Ganga idia of CVS its not needed at all very bad script writing...but I didnt find Ganga's any behaviour irritating.

This cake politics did not look nice. It would have been better if Ganga did not bring her cake immediately after Sanchi's wedding cake. Perhaps DS/Gahna/any body who knew that Ganga made a cake should have asked her. By bringing her cake immediately there and she had joined this faltu cake politics. She should have let Sanchi's wedding cake ritual to pass. Jagya anyway would not have liked that pink cake.
And Anandi's lighting candles actually looked like a hint especially because she seemed happy that Jagya cut Ganga's cake first. Why did CVs brought this school children type rat race? Even if Ganga's cake was cut later, it would not have undermine her effort.

Totally agree with you TM. Instead of showing Sanchi Ganga competition, they should have shown Ganga in a different way. I mean Ganga is not doing any competition but the way they are showing its looking like that, and its looking very funny .Incase of Anandi, she has been shown so graceful, Gauri planned, done scheming but she royally ignored everything and did exactly what is right.
She never did anything to get Jagya back forcefully but everything came in her way finally.
Today also the way she stood beside her childhood friend to help him decide is beautifuuly shown. Since childhood whenever Jagya is in problem she helped him decide the right thing. Today also Jagya understood her unspoken words.I think best scene of the episide is Anandi lighting the candle for Jagya.

i knw its painfull to watch a strong character like Ganga in this typ of situation..coz we expected something else..but if you ignore Sanchi drama you will find Ganga the same old Ganga.only situations are changed. its cvs who showing things lyk Ganga compeeting with Sanchi..but actualy she is not...

I too liked Anandi lighting the candle scene.

But i'm very confused about ganga bringing the cake at the same time. Maybe we are used to mahanta and giving up to others by heroines so much that we find ganga's act weird😆. She loves him and wants him to prefer her over other girl. Shouldn't that be normal?

She brought the cake without any hesitation, didn't look like she would withdraw from the cake competition😆. Can i take it like ganga will confess her love and not back out when the time comes😕? Otherwise this scene doesn't make sense.

Anandi's action looked lovely and Jagya respecting and understand it. Kya scene hai!

Even now when I think of child anandi and child Jagya, a lump settles in my throat for those bygone days.
