Mumbai: Pratyusha Banerjee alias former Anandi of daily soap Balika Vadhu became heartthrob of millions ever since she stepped into the shoes of child prodigy Avika Gor. Now, the Bengali bombshell is set to appear in a new telly serial in a different avatar. But will the audience accept her in this modern look or they want to see Prats in the same traditional and conservative role of a shy bahu.
Pratyusha, who played Anandi in Balika Vadhu, was always seen in lehnga-choli but the recent reports suggest that she will don a new and bold look for her next daily soap. Her character will quite different from Anandi.
Her next daily soap is set up in Kolkata and Pratyusha will play a modern Bengali girl. Interestingly, she is Bengali in her real life too.
Post her exit from Balika Vadhu, her fans expressed their anger and demanded to bring her back on the show. Now her return on TV came as a big relief for them who are eagerly waiting to see their favorite star on the small screen.
