In 2010, Pratyusha Banerjee began appearing as the protagonist Anandi in the television series Balika Vadhu, first aired on the Colors TV channel. She won the role to appear as an older Anandi because of a five-year leap in the program's storyline, through an SMS poll. On 2nd march 2013, She was also a contestant on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 5, on Colors TV channel but got eliminated in the earlier rounds because she was facing health issues.

Hearing about this new serial for a long time!

When will it come on air and which channel.. I miss seeing Pratyusha's face on the television and want to give a chance to her new TV series. :)
