Stalking?

Sanchi's behaviour is almost like stalking a man or victim. And she is ira's ladli over whom Ira is showering so much love and concern.

If I am in anandi's place, I would have told Ira, 'look, it is not me but it is your daughter who hates me. As such I have no control over what she wears, where she goes etc. As a mother, what did you do about your darling daughter? You spoilt her and she you never bothered about her shrieking spells. You are so strict with your son and why dont you be the same to your daughter? You are not ready to,listen to anything. Of course your daughter imbibed all your traits in excess and now she has become a stalker as well. Find another Alok for your daughter over whom she will dominate by using tantrums, hysterical anger etc.'

Ira does not even respect daddu's presence. She is full of attitude of being the Collector's mother and belonging to a rich family. Both mother and daughter will give hell to anandi and shiv.

Indian bahu has 2 options.

Either she should be daring and call a spade a spade thus upsetting the husband and the entire family.

Or suffer in silence as martyr while the mother in law and sister in law abuse her for no fault of hers.

Has sasural becomes a cage or jail? Is the nuclear family the answer?

I feel Anandi was already self conscious about the marriage and her acceptance in Shekhar household. Ira's outburst upon learning DS' lies must have hurt her and made her more cautious.

How does she know what to speak? How will she be judged? Will Ira believe her?

Here I blame Ira less but DS more because due to their lies and hiding truths, even Anandi's honesty came under scanner from Ira.

Ira is not like Sanchi. We've seen her behave wiser in past. Let's not forget even CM was barking at Anandi and forever looking at her in suspicion. It was Ira who had driven sense in her.

Ira probably is still reeling from hurt of Shiv shouting at her and making stark remarks about her mentality in front of everyone. She probably never saw Shiv behave like that before.

Sanchi took advantage of the situation to sprinkle salt on her wounds and make her feel "victimised" by arrival of Anandi.

It seemed kind of expected that she'd blame Anandi. But she also blamed Alok, Daddu, Shiv, Mahi and CM! Taunted them too for failing their responsibility while she was away!

I don't understand why people here are behaving as if Ira only barked at Anandi and spared others?

She is right in scolding the entire family and being angry at them for hiding truth from her.

I think anyone would have exploded this way if something so serious happened with her/his daughter/sister!

We know Sanchi deceived family. How come Ira, who was not even in city, supposed to "know" everything and not say anything to family?

I am sure the day she learns truth of her daughter fort herself she'd be first one to bash Sanchi the most and first to apologise to Anandi with folded hands.

I think she's just getting shock pe shock in family so she's a bunch of nerves now. Jo bhi mann mein aa raha hai bol rahi hai!

She was apologising to everyone after she returned. I guess she'd have had a talk with Anandi too. But the new incident, that too learnt from others, hurt her again. It's like scratching scab of an old wound!

As a panicky mom of a daughter who just escaped rape, I'd again give her a chance before writing her off.

Sometimes I feel Shekhars were a normal happy family till they came in contact with Singhs! Now lies, deceit and drama are happening in their family too. I think it proves that one better say away from families that have had a stormy or abnormal history. Panga from there, percolates to other normal family too...

It's really debatable situation and one cannot say who is right or who is wrong and your point in bold is also not right in every aspect...it's true that Shekhars came across to us as very happy family but Singhs are not the real problem of their trouble...it's their own daughter Saanchi...she is becoming stubborn about not accepting Anandi as her bhabhi and on top of that she make sure she multiplies the trouble in every situation...Ira did not felt bad back then when Urmi Devi had disclosed this thing to her in temple but now because of Saanchi's manipulative language she thought like this and got angry

Yes she scolded all the family members for not taking care of Saanchi and everything but telling Anandi that she did it because she hates Saanchi is absolutely wrong when she knows it's her own daughter that hates Anandi...she told off Aanandi to take care of Saanchi which is what every MIL expects from her DIL but a sensible and intelligent mother does not...her daughter is doing MBA...it's a master's degree post graduation so shouldn't a young girl like Saanchi herself should know this what to wear and where to wear it...Saanchi is actually young lady so she should be aware of everything...Jagya had clearly told Shekhars that Sunny's friends lured Saanchi in name of Jagya to trap her...though she should not be blamed openly for it but no one has seen that it was Saanchi's foolishness that made her get trapped...she was not pushed or kidnapped but she herself came there and Shekhars are very much aware about it so one cannot say Saanchi is a poor victim...Ira knows that no one can control Saanchi so how can she expect someone who has not even built that relation of trust with Saanchi and this time it's Saanchi fault because like Shiv said that if Anandi is going one step forward then Saanchi is taking one step backward...Anandi is not trying hard is very easy to say but one should see that Saanchi's reason for not accepting Anandi is also not at all right and is completely illogical...if Ira is really worried for Saanchi then why doesn't she tell her to come back...i bet she will blame Anandi that it was her plan to stay at Jaitsar

tomorrow Ira will blame anandi for sanchi falling for Jagya. Not preventing on anandi's part.

If Jagya refuses to marry sanchi, then also Ira will blame anandi for not being sincere enough to ensure sanchi's happiness.

Ira will become the quintessential mother in law who will always find fault with bahu only.

ira says to anandi that i know u do not like sanchi so if according to ira already knows that anandi does not like sanchi then why ira is complaining that anandi has not taken care of sanchi .how can ira expect that anandi should take care of sanchi if according to ira anandi does not like sanchi

I was actually ok when Ira scolded A, because she had scolded everyone else also, so I could see that she was impartial. Also I can understand's Ira mind-set. She was fooled by Ds family and hardly had she got over the incident and started to feel normal, she got a bigger shock from the family - one more betrayal. And hence the abrupt outburst.
