Debbie,Another moving update from you. Both Anandi and Shiv went through such a painful childhood, shouldering responsibilities at an young age to become successful individuals and stand by their families..Anandi's mom - salute her spirit!!!
read the last 2 updates and they are wonderful...i really dont know how u imagine such situations...they show ur hardwork...u r spending so much of ur precious time to create awareness among us...i salute u for this...keep going on...coming to the updates...it was awesome yaar...shiv and anandi have such an unpleasant childhood...the difference between 2 moms...on one side anandis mom-strong and bold enough...on the othee side shivs mom-weak and innocent, insecured too...loved the way u potrayed it...thanks for bringing such a story to us...i really wish women to be strong as anandis mom and not so weak as shivs mother...excellent updates...continue soon..
Debbie dear! A big tight hug!!!đ¤
One of my favorite updates so far in this story!!!I know even in this age and year...even the educated and well off ppl think this way...that is the sad truth of the society...Though I didnt have such a painful experience but I do have something to share...I was so excited when I first got pregnant...since I live in US, we can choose to learn about the gender of the baby...and I wanted to know it so that I will be well prepared with all the baby stuff đ...In my heart I was hoping it will a girl...even my hubby was hoping it would be a girl as he didnt have any sisters while growing up...When we got to know the gender..it was a girl...We were so excited...when we told the same to my mom-in-law...her first reaction was "aiyyo" (telugu word equivalent to "haila" in hindi)...when I heard her reaction...I cried for days...but then I decided that it shouldnt matter to me what the hell she thinks about my baby...it my baby...and we are very happy about it...to this day whenever I think of it...it pains me somewhere deep...I cant even imagine how these women face such kind of shit in real life..they are real heroes!sorry about my rantđ
Hey did i miss somethng or is it that u din mention it...I think jagya is a past history now in anandi's life right and wehn u wrote about anadi's past, y dint jagya come in there...is it meant for future updates or am i wrong in assessing...

Oh Debbie, what a update, but thanks for bringing up this bitter truth about our society especially if it concerns the educated people.
I hope all the ladies voice out their opinion where their daughters are concerned. Waiting for next update.đ¤
