It's not about how many times Jagya says sorry, it's about whether he truly means it or not. If he truly feels remorse for all that he put Anandi through (willingly or unwillingly) he shouldn't have had the audacity to tell her that he's unable to move on in his life. Had he said that he's unable to move on from the phase that him and Gauri ended at, then fair enough...but that fact that he's unable to move on from the phase that him and Anandi ended at is just childish!
I also want Jagya and Anandi to remain friends...they spent their entire childhood with each other, and at that time they grew fond of each other as friends, not as husband and wife..so I would love to see that friendship remain. What Ashima is to Shiv is what Jagya could be to Anandi...and if that happens, then what Ashima is to Anandi is what Jagya could be to Shiv...and that would be something different and oddly sweet to watch (if handled with immense care that is).
But, in my opinion, Jagya and Anandi cannot remain friends if only one of them puts in the effort. Anandi is trying her best to maintain normalcy, even her husband is being uber supportive by giving an opinion on how to improve Jagya's stagnating life and what not! Jagya on the other hand is stuck in a loop! It is also his responsibility to maintain his friendship with Anandi, and he cannot do that by creating awkward situations for her and his family, and as a result creating further embarassment for himself!
I don't think this Jagya jealousy track is forcible, in fact I feel that it's not impactful at all because Jagya doesn't seem the least bit ashamed nor remorseful.
Waise, on a side note...I sometimes wonder whether we're mistaking Jagya's "confession" to Anandi... all he said was that he doesn't wanna move on in life because he doesn't wanna part with his memories of times spent with her, that doesn't necessarily mean that he still loves her... he was just trying to imply that moving on is not the solution for his as it was for Anandi because while she's happier with Shiv, he now realizes that he was happier with her (clearly Gauri was just a figment of his imagination -_-) ... even still... he should have kept that bit to himself...definitely not an apt discussion to have with your ex-wife...forget that, most definitely not an apt discussion to have with someone else's wife!
