I completely understand why some viewers find it shocking when the lead female role is changed. But it happens in serials that run for some time.
Since Pratyusha herself did not want to do this role anymore, I feel that I should give the new female lead a chance to show her skills. Nobody should be forced or pressured to work on something they dont like anymore. After all this is the theme of the show too.
I have watched the first two episodes and think that Toral will do a good job.
What I like about her:
1) She has a bit more matured and confident look. I think it will pair up with Shiv well.
2) I may be wrong but she is a bit taller than Pratyusha. I like that esp when Shiv and Anandi will stand together.
3) I like that she does not speak as slow as Pratyusha. No offense, but sometimes it a bit tiring for me.
It may take a bit of time for a good chemistry to develop between Shiv and new Anandi. But I am sure that both actors will try their best.
I think we should keep an open mind and just give Toral a chance.
