P.S.- Not everybody has talent/potential. That is quite clear from someone's two weeks and body of work. And movies are different than daily soaps. You are comparing two different processes as if they are apples to apples when its apples to oranges.

Acting is acting whether it is serial or movie. The only big difference is in serials you can make mistakes and rectify in future episodes not in a movie. Once a movie released you cannot change and rerelease it back.

Apparently people here have not had an experience where they've had to make light of a rejection and the rejectors to save their own pride.

Apparently three years of extreme hard work, done with full dedication, count for nothing.

I'm tired of the Indian telly industry mistreating its actors and its viewers, but I guess as long as people are willing to believe what is being fed them without looking into it a little more, it's going to keep happening.

Oh well. I'm not touching any Colors show, at least, with a ten foot pole from now on.

No it's not. The process of a film is VERY different bc of cut to cut shooting for telecast. Thats why many tv actors improve themselves with each episode. That is not the case in BV where certain someone has been in the business as long as Sriti, but still can't capture the essence of a character, in fact that writing in the show is being butchered as well as the character bc of her inability.

Am sure Spielberg would concur. He himself had quoted that only Barbara Eden could be the perfect genie and anyone else would not fit the bill while talking about his Sitcom.
