BV Written Update (2013/02/09) Complete

I liked the episode. Nice paced. Shya team looked very professional. The two make a good team when working together.

I have actually started liking the flavours Saanchi is adding to show. Although she is ill-mannered most of the times, she is not always wrong. She is giving a different type of challenge to Anandi.

In a way it's a fresh concept in BV. Perception of two females: a girl who is modern educated, pampered and well supported by famiily, versus a balika vadhu who had to struggle at every stage of her life. Liking it!!

Glad that the Shya duo with Ganga reached to Laxmiganj today itself.

The precap was hilarious to me. Jagya was made to be the super hero even when all policemen were around. And why is everyone running behind the jeep when police could have easily punctured the tyre using a gun. 😆

1. CM is thinking more and more about AnSh. GOOD. Somebody needs to in the show LOL. Right now CM is uncomfortable asking intimate questions, as anyone would be, but eventually she will ask. Somebody needs to. A much needed catalyst for AnSh to resolve their issues.

2. AnSH phone convo. At first I was confused by Anandi's sad expression response to Shiv's I have to take care of myself, after all I am your husband. Then I thought, if the director/CVs wanted her to give such an expression, perhaps its because Shiv could not assuage her fears of the possible danger he would be facing OR the fact that she feels guilty about her fear of intimacy and him saying after all I'm your husband, just reminds her of her injustice to Shiv. Words can trigger feelings of conflict/guilt/fear. But I guess we will find out eventually as to why she is worried.

3. Poor Ganga. To find out that the people who she served her entire life, thought she was worthless that she be ordered to be killed. I am glad though that she has bounced back to fight. She will def need healing from the Singhs.

4. Sanchi. This girl. TESTS my patience. Where is ANY of her humanity, conscience, or compassion??? Does she even HAVE IT???? It looked like she might have a few days ago, but today, WOW. She is just a spoiled brat who can't STAND the fact that her brother has someone special in his life and she's just insecure bc she feels like her place has been taken. Anandi is the girl who took her "special" place in Shiv's and her family's heart and now anything related to Anandi, she hates. Including having compassion and doing the right thing for others in need or as she terms it social work. CM was right, if you hate/don't like someone, everything they do, you hate and that is exactly what Sanchi is doing.

5. Well more of Jagya's herogiri witnessed today, LOL. But still it is nice to see Jagya so concerned and caring about Ganga. It's touching to see such growth and maturity in him.

6. Well looks like in the precap, Shiv, Jagya, Ganga are running after that disgusting family with Shiv in the lead...does that mean he will get hurt?? Because if he does, that will lead to some interesting AnSh scenes with CM leading into it with her inquisitive questions.lol.

Sigh this was a very Un-AnSh week so I hope next week is more balanced or more AnSh related. I would prefer if we had a balance, but I think the CVs needed a week to just focus mostly on Ganga's track since her track has been moving at a snail's pace for quite some time and this week really sped things up in terms of her track now that it's finally been decided she will be staying in Jaitsar too. Here's hoping to a more interesting next week, thank goodness there's only a day's wait for that to happen! =)

Bold: I agree, she is def adding that spice that Gauri use to bring. I do get annoyed with her, but at the same time she does bring up the points of a selfish society...I mean we all know who in our huge families would voice the same kind of opinion she does, everyone has a relative they know of, or even a person that would say what Sanchi said. Don't know if it's necessarily the POV of a modern girl, bc being one myself, I would not voice such opinions believing in social work myself and finding Sanchi's opinion very limited, narrow-minded. But I do think that she does represent a certain voice in our society that certainly DOES exist. But for sure Misseha, she brings a certain viewpoint to the debate people have about social work. There are those who don't like thinking for others and those who do.

As for Sanchi, I think she may be spoiled and insecure bc she is no longer the no. 1 special, only girl in the family, now with Anandi there now. Also she DOES represent the POV of a girl who is not selfless like Anandi, so she clashes with Anandi's way of thinking. i think it will be interesting to see if Sanchi grows up by learning to accept Anandi's POV without having to agree with it. Just because someone doesn't share your POV, does not mean that you have to be disrespectful to them. So I think Sanchi has two things to get over in terms of her issues with Anandi.

Anyways thanks for bringing that up, it certainly helped me articulate clearly my own understanding and feelings of Sanchi. She indeed does pose a different kind of challenge to Anandi. She is not like DS, CM, Gauri, or others in the past who have not liked Anandi.
