Shiv reached home the way he had sneaked out. He had fulfilled his wish. He wanted to be the first to see Anandi in her complete bridal avataar and she too unknowingly had not put her nath on. He had helped her complete her bridal look. It was in the stars as if God too wanted them to be with each other in that moment and so he was able to come see her. Lucky for him no one had the time to come and check for him. He reached in time as he was called to get his saafa (head gear) tied. His ma and C M tied it for him. Saachi put the kalgi on his pagdi. His tilak was done by Ira. They prayed at the home temple and went outside. Shiv was asked to make the ghodi eat gud chana. The ghodi ate gud chana and it was taken as a sign that she would be good and let him mount easily. Mahi put his hands in a position as per the customs to allow Shiv to step on them and mount the ghodi. Daddu gave Shiv the talwaar which the groom carries. A distant nephew of Shiv, 5 years of age was made to sit on front of him on the ghodi. Alok was recording every moment.

Saachi and Ashi came and stood in front of the ghodi. They wanted neg to let her move. They wanted 20,000rs after much bargaining Shiv gave them 5000 rs. The baraat moved towrards the wedding venue as per muhurat. The band was playing the tunes of wedding songs. A huge crowd of baraati's dancing in front of Shiv's ghodi. The streets of Jaitsar were decorated like a bride. Anandi and Shiv had inisisted on not bursting crackers as it would cause air and sound pollution. Mahi wanted to burst something so he was bursting confetti canisters. A few pieces of confetti fell on Shiv's nephew and he removed them remembering that on his Bday he had pulled out a streamer piece from Anandi's hair. She looked so cute and confused when he was doing it. Shiv called Anandi as the baraat moved forward. He had his Bluetooth connected. On their way they were to make a stop at the temple to pray. They would reach the temple in some time.

Anandi and her family too moved at the same time from the haveli to go to the wedding venue. Jagat hid behind a tree near the house to see Anandi go to get married to Shiv. He still in his black heart of hearts was praying for a miracle that he gets his toy back today. Anandi's phone buzzed. She saw C S's name flash on the screen. She looked at Sugna and Sumitra who were sitting on her either side. "Ye ladka na sach mein ise chain nahi padta tere bina. Ye toh reet rasam ki baat hai is liye itna intezaar kar raha hai pehle se tujhe jaanta hota toh jis din tu uske saath ghode par baithi thi usi din tujhe bhaga le jaata." Sumitra teased Anandi. Anandi remembered that he had told her that he whispered in the ears of the horse 'Jaitsar ki sarpanch ko bhaga le jaana itna aasaan nahi'. The horse wasn't capable of doing so but he was.

Dsa looks at her through the rear view mirror and gives permission to talk to Shiv. "Anandiji." "Jee." "Aap ghar se nikal gayi?" "Jee." "Aap nervous hain?" "Jee." "Aap pehle mandir aa rahi hain na darshan ke liye?" "Jee." "Aapko meri baraat ki aawaaz sunai de rahi hai?" "Jee." "Arre bolne main itni kanjoosi kyun kar rahi hain? Main jo pooch raha hoon uska sirf Jee main hi jawaab de rahi hain?" "Aapko theek se jawaab chahiye apne sawaalon ke?" "Jee." "Toh main phone Dsa ko, Ma ko ya Sugna jiji main se kise doon?" "JEE?" "Kya hua ab aap Jee Jee kyun kar rahe hain?" "Ri chori ke kare hai aaj byaah hai tharo Shiv se. Aaj kai chede use? La phone manney de main baat karu hoon usse. Shiv beta ab bas kar saari baaten phone par abhi se kar levego toh baad mein ke karego. Chal ab phone raakhoon hoon." "Namaste dadiji." "Namaste. Tanney mahro khoob khoob aashish."

Shiv and Anandi reach the temple to pray to God for life long marital bliss. They were hoping to see each other one more time. They were in for a horrid surprise. Dsa had filled in Bade daadusa of Shiv and Anandi meeting during the pre wedding ban. He would have never allowed it to happen. He had strictly passed an order that what happened happened but they were not to see each other before reaching the wedding venue. When they reached the temple they saw a huge white cloth tied exactly in the middle of the staircase to make two sides, one for the groom side and one for the bride side. Anandi and Shiv were shocked to see it. They had met in the morning so it was OK. They reach the temple and pray to GOD. The pandit gives arti ki thali which they both take at the same time. They were told to do it together because once you take the thali you should do the arti before putting the thali down. Their fingers touched but Shiv moved his away.

They go back to their respective mode of transport to reach the wedding venue. The bride's side has to reach before the groom's side. Anandi and her family reach the venue. It was a beautifully decorated ground. The entrance was arch shaped. There were beautiful peacock sculptures here and there. There was a beautiful pond shaped water fountain in which there were small ducks and lotuses (Decoration wale). There were 21 mandaps. 20 other couples would be entering marriage along with Anandi and Shiv. There was a beautiful circular rotating gazebo shaped mandap in the center. The other mandaps were surrounding it. Their mandap was decorated with exotic flowers. The aroma filled the lungs with sweet smell. Every mandap as decorated beautifully. Arrangements were made for the guests. The VIP lounge was prepared for the C M and his cabinate. The C M and the other dignatireies were welcomed by the older members of both families. There was media frenzy. Every news channel was there to cover the unique wedding of the Youngest Collector of Rajasthan + first Collector of Jaitsar and of the youngest + first ever Female Sarpanch of Jaitsar. It was a community wedding with a social cause.

Anandi was in the room specially arranged for her. She was surrounded by the girl brigade.The other dulhan's were too in the other rooms. The sound of the baraat arriving was heard by Anandi. She was not allowed to see her baraat as per tradition. Shiv is brought down from his ghodi by Shyaam the same way Mahi had helped him mount. All the male baraati's were welcomed by men of Anandi's house by putting garland around their necks and doing tilak. The women welcomed the women. Shiv comes to the entrance. He had to touch and cut the haar hung high above the entrance gate with his sword. (Similar to ribbon cutting ceremony in north Indian weddings) He did so in a single attempt. Everyone clap for his victory. Sumitra does his aarti. Gehna engages Shiv in some general talk while Sumitra very easily pulls his nose. The saas pulling the damaad's nose rasam was done with ease. Mahi teases him,"Kya bhaiyya aap bhi samjhaya tha na ghar par aapko is rasam ke bare mein. Itni height hone ka kya faayda agar kakisa ne itni asaani se ye rasam kar li. Aapki naak toh gayi."

Sumitra moves away and welcomes Shiv to enter the wedding venue. He takes one step but is stopped by the saali gang. "Namaste jjijusa. Jijusa kahan chale? Zara humse bhi toh miliye. Anandi abhi tayyar nahi hui hai. Waise itni jaldi bhi kya hai? No'entry hai abhi. Entry chahiye toh jeb dheeli kijiye. 10,000 rs bas. Hum chaar saliyaan hain equally baat lenge." "Ye kya ghar se nikalte waqt Saachi aur Ashi ne paise maange aur yahan aap log? Not fair main collector hoon govt. salary par jeeta hoon. Thoda concession toh de dijiye." "Arre ladkiyon kya kar rahi ho? Shagun ke liye hoti hain ye sab rasme. Isme itne saare paise maangna sahi nahi hai." Badde daadusa garje. "Bade daadusa Its ok waise bhi aaj ka hi toh din mila hai in sabko." "Arre bhaiyya bade daadusa theek keh rahe hain. Yeh toh aaj in ladkiyon ne loot macha rakhi hai. Mujhe dekhiye ek paisa nahi maanga aapse. Isse accha toh ye hota ki aap bhabhi ko bhaga ke le jaate aur shaadi kar lete. Main toh yahi karoonga." Mahi had Shiv's wallet so that he would not pay any demanded amount without bargaining. "Arre jiji ke devar toh bade kanjoos hain? Hum aapse thodi apne jijusa se maang rahe hain. Theek hai jijusa aap hum chaaron ko shagun ke ek ek hazaar de djijiye. Ye concession aapko sirf aapke aur Anandi ke kaaran mil raha hai. Na jaane kab se aapka intezaar kar rahe hai aap dono iss din ka." Shiv asks Mahi to give him the cash. He pays his saalis 1000rs each for shagun. He is allowed to go in. Shiv goes in and sits on the sofa in front of their mandap.

He is impatiently waiting for Anandi to come. Mahi and his friends tease him non stop. Ashi and Saachi along with the girl brigade go join Anandi. She is blushing. She is the perfect bride. They tease her. "Kya baat hai Anandi you did not ask how Shiv is looking? Tum usko dekhe the kya in the temple?" Ashi asked as if she suspected foul play on Anandi and Shiv's part and Anandi just blushed. Anandi is asked to come out. The girls bring her out to the sofa where Shiv was seated. Shiv gets up to receive her. She halts at the first step. She is just gawking at Shiv. She opens her mouth in awe. He loved the effect his look had on her. He was right he was looking far more handsome than before. He had his saafa on, the sword and the stole too and with his complete dulha avatar he was looking even more majestic. He too was mesmerized by her beauty. Every time he saw her he felt as if he were seeing her for the very first time. The people surrounding them were just amazed by their eye lock in front of so many people. They were jerked back to reality.

"Anandi chal kya kar rahi hai." Sugna nudged her to go up the sofa. She put her hand forth for Shiv to come and take her with him. He came and did so. Here too they were teased. They were not able to speak with each other. Every time they tried to they were interrupted. They were so close but were not able to converse whereas no matter how much distance was between them they could easily chat up on the phone. Anandi and Shiv go and meet the C M and his ministers' every body congragulated them on their personal and professional achievements. Shiv proudly introduces Anandi to everyone. She too is very proud of Shiv. Anandi is taken back to her room.
