Anandi calls Shiv twice in a brief period of time.

Shiv: Kya baat hai itni jaldi meri yaad bhi aa gayi?

Anandi: Mujhe jo kehna hai wo dhyaan se suniye. Aap jaante hain na ki ye shaadi main kyun kar rahi hoon?

Shiv: Haan jaanta hoon ki aap apni ma ki antim iccha poori karne ke liye ye shaadi kar rahi hain. Main aap par kabhi mujhe apnane ko ya is rishtey ko poori tarah se nibhane ko nahi kahoonga. Anandi: Dono sawaal alag hain C S aur dono ke jawaab bhi. Maine shaadi ke liye haan ma ki antim iccha poori karne ke liye ki thi. Aur main ab ye shaadi is liye kar rahi hoon kyunki hum best friend's hain aur best friends ek doosre ke liye sabse acche aur sahi jeevan saathi hote hain. Main aapki acchhai, aapki sacchai aur aapki parwa ke kaaran aapke pyaar ke kaaran ye shaadi kar rahi hoon. Main jhoot nahi kahoongi main is waqt aapse ek patni jaisa pyar nahi karti par ek din zaroor karna chahoongi. Uss din mein poori tarah se aapki ban jaaoongi. Ye baaten main shayad aapke saamne na kar pati is liye phone par keh rahi hoon. Shaadi se pehle meri shaadi karne ki wajah, mera batana aur aapka janna bahut zaroori tha mere liye. Shiv: Jis din aapne mera pyaar sweekar kiya tha main ye baatein usi din samajh gya tha par aaj aapse sunkar bahut accha laga. Ab mere mann par koi apradh bhavna nahi hai ki aap keval ma ki antim iccha ka maan rahkke apna mann maarkar mujhe shaadi kar ne ke liye tayyar hui thi. Mana waqt ke saath humaare rishte ki paribhasha badli par jin haalaaton mein aapne haan kahi thi mujhme ek guilt tha. Thank you mujhe iss guilt se bahar nikaalne ke liye.

Sugna: Anandi jaldi kar maine tujhe sirf jijusa ko apne mann ki baat karne ko kaha that um dono toh phir apne mein ulajhkar sab bhool baithe. Dsa ne tum dono ko baat karte pakda to tere kaan yahaan maorodengi aur jijiusa ke phone mein ghuskar. Jaldi bye bol aur rakh.

Anandi and Shiv say bye once more. In Shiv's room his friends come and start to disturb him just as he disconnects the call. The baraat was to leave at 11:00 am. His friends bring the sherwaani he was to wear for the wedding. They all begin to fuss over him. "Kya kar rahe ho tum log main koi ladki hoon kya ki sab mera saaj sringaar karne aa gaye. Kapde hi pehenne hain mujhe rakhdo yahan main pehen loonga. Sab ab jao yahan se aur khud tayyar ho jao. Tum logon ki biwiyon ko kehne ka mauka mat do ki aaj sabse zyaada handsome Shiv devarjee hi lag rahe hain. Thodi tumhaari tareef bhi kare aise tayyar ho jao." "Haan haan kyun nahi aaj toh sirf Anandi bhabhi ka haq hai tujhe dekhne ka aur tujhe handsome kehne ka." His friends tease him.

They all leave him alone in the room. He bolts the room from inside. He wears his sherwani. It was a cream, gold and maroon sherwani. There was a beautiful embroidered broad waist band with his sherwani. He had put a diamond brooch on the left side of his sherwaani. He is wearing matching mojri's in his feet. He was ready as a dulha. He looked princely in it. He was now ready to go and see his dulhan. Yes! He would sneak out of the back door to go see Anandi. He wanted to be the first one to see her dressed as a dulhan.

Anandi is being dressed by her friends. She had Shiv's name written on her heart. Sugna had already seen it she sends everyone out. She helps Anandi wear her wedding trousseau. She was dressed in a beautiful red and golden dress. It was embroidered with beautiful and intricate zardosi work. The choli had a beautiful low cut back something Anandi had never worn. It had very short sleeves which were completely covered with zardosi work. The duppaatta was of pure tissue with huge motifs to match the design of the motifs of the lengha. She had worn the dupatta in a seedha pallu fashion like always. The dupatta covered her head and long hair which is now done in a bun. There was a beautiful pin in the bun to make it stay in its place. The lehnga had flair to it. It had huge motifs in zardosi work. The motifs were surrounded by small diamond studs all over.

She was bejeweled from head to toe in very traditional Rajasthani ornaments. It was made up of pearls, gold and precious beads in red and gold. Her modla (maang teeka) on the head had three lines of pearls on each side. The center line was also made of pearls. The center piece was very traditional round one with an extension dropping on her forehead. She had matching huge earrings with a ser of pearls going round her ear and dropping in the back with a beautiful jewel piece on its end. A huge gold, pearl and red and golden beaded neck piece increased the beauty of her slender neck. Her bangles were red, golden and pearl ones. Her thin upper arms were adonred with baju bandh. She had put on the traditional haati daant ka chuda on her arms above the bajubandh. Delicate payal of the same set adorned her mehndi decorated feet. The ones Shiv had given her are safely packed with her stuff to take to saasra. When she was ready from head to toe in her wedding trousseau and jewelry she looked like a princess. She had yet to wear the beautiful round nath.

The prince and princess were ready to join in holy matrimony. Anandi needed some time alone and so she was given. She closed the door. She did a diya and lighted essence sticks in front of her mother's photo. She joined her hands and prayed to her mother. She asked her to be with her always on the most important day of her life. She thanked her mother to make her promise to marry Shiv on her death bed. She was sorry that she never got to actually meet the man who would keep her lado happy for life. When she opened her eyes after the prayer she saw an image in the glass of her mother's photo frame. A princely figure with eyes shut and folded hands praying like he did in a temple.

Anandi turned around and saw Shiv too was praying to her mother. He opened his eyes and saw her. They smile and stare at each other for a while. She then comes to her senses that he was in her room on the day of their wedding. She was going to scream but did not because if she would he would cover her mouth and spoil her lipstick. He signed her not to say a word. He took her hand in his and caressed it. He took her to the mirror and they stood there. They admired one another's image in the mirror. They looked perfect together. A match truly made in the heavens. She was ready as his dulhan but still one thing was left. He picked up her nath and helped her put it on. Now she was completely ready. He was the first one to see her ready as a bride.

"Aap yahan kya kar rahe hain?" "Aapko dekhne aaya." "Kyun? Pehle kabhi nahi dekha mujhe?" "Sabse pehle main aapko dekhna chahta tha. Dekha hai par aise dulhan ki tarah toh nahi na?" "Aap aaye kaise?" He points out the window giving her his trade mark smile. "Seedhi chadke." "Gir jaate toh?" "Nahi girta." "Ab hogaya?" "Haan." "Jaiye." "Itni jaldi?" "Kisi ne dekha toh bawaal machega." "Theek hai. Bye." "Bye. Jaldi aayiega." "Hmm." "Sambhalke." "Jee" Shiv goes down the step ladder. He comes back up because he forgot something very important. "Sh sh" "Aap wapas aa gaye? Kya hai?" "Aap bahut sundar lag rahi hain." "Thank you. Ab Jaiye." "Not fair. Main kaisa lag raha hoon?" "OK" "Kya?" "C S shaadi ke mandap mein mujhe dekhkar chaukiyega." "Kyun?" "Warna kisiko shak ho jayega ki aap mujhse mile the. Mujhe chaukne ko nahi kahenge?" "Nahi" "Kyun?" "Aap bhi chaukengi. Guarantee ke saath keh sakta hoon." "Kyun?" "Kyun ki main abhi jaisa lag raha hoon mandap mein aur bhi zyaada handsome lagoonga." "Arre wah apne mooh miya mithoo." She hears footsteps and pleads him to leave. He does. She was very happy that she was getting married to her C S, her best friend. She knew how deep his love was for her and it was that love which made him do such antics. She would fall in love with him some day was a fact which she knew in her heart of hearts.
