Life is a risk and marriage always a gamble... but, you can stack the odds in favor of the house! Jagat from day 1 has always taken the easy way out... an easily swayed individual with no direction...who is often thoughtless and has a broken moral compass. Shiv, on the other hand, is principled...he thinks for himself...is thoughtful and respectful...with a strong moral compass and a sense of purpose. Once he chooses a path or makes a commitment he will honour it as a point of principle. Given the chance, he will stick to Anandi like superglue and remain true 😆 Besides which he is not going into this marriage blindly or immaturely... he getting to know the complete Anandi beforehand, they have similar visions, values, principles, and directionality...and a lot less ego. Shiv will bent to Anandi and her suggestion for the Naher because it was better. If he was Egoist then he would never ever have altered his path. Anandi accepted the grant when she believed it wasn't ehsaan... and she is not exactly ghamandi. She cares a crap who gets "credit", so long as the job gets done. And Shiv is always willing to give due credit.

So, while there are no guarantees, the qualities of loyalty, honesty, integrity, principles, compassion, and caring natures Shiv & Anandi suggest that even beyond compatibility they are unlikely to abandon a commitment once they make it.

May be... its jealousy nly. god knws(I mean CVs knw) what is cooking in his mind... Any time he can take U-turn... may b coz of love or hate... He is the most unstable mind in this drama. He himself dsn't knw what he wants.

That dialogue of Jug's struck me as odd as well. I had four thoughts/possibilities:

1. They are just trying to do parallel btwn Shiv and Jug's emotions for Anandi. Nothing more

2. He's sooo drunk that he thinks love, parwa, seva, etc. are bad qualities... and how can a person with such qualities take anything from another.

3. Jug is hating Anandi because he's scared to admit he messed everything up himself;

4. Jug is in denial about his true feelings for Anandi... he is trying to demonize her, so he doesn't have to admit he picked the wrong woman.

I wasn't sure which or 4 it is... moreover, I care a damn😡 So, long as he shows up and signs those divorce papers, I don't care if he drowns in his own drink!
