You absolutely right. His male ego is to much. Husband can never work under wife. Why is that any necessary.. First day he asking for transfer without given single thought how his impression becomes like that. Why he is comparing every time. Other then how they allowed gaury to take assistant. As per I know. In government hospital where my dad working there is student of ms and even mbbs Are working in under experience doctors. Hospitals authority will never take a chance to directly give them to handle case individually I guess...

For the red one..For the red one. She could have not stoped Jagat to talk to HR. second She has given a reason, that his impression will be going for toss if he would ask immediate transfer.. This will not get down, from throught of working people, who knows policies...

First she says: You have not yet joined completely... THis is never the case. The moment he reported this morning , he joined completely.. If he want to resign now he need to go through the process of resignation. It means his joining is complete.

Asking transfer for a sensitive matter like this, is always taken a consideration. HR will not only consider the request of transer, S/He would do it on immediate basis.

Third : Not only Jagat, She would have herself requested for transfer of her husband tosome other senior doctor.. Her request would be given immediate consideration. as it is personnel issue, which may impact productivity of team...

Fourth: Starting uder his wife, and then shifting to another doctor, every body would have known The coplexities of their relation. It is better if he start under other doctor, No personnel life will come infront and in work...

If Gauri does not wnat to transfer Jagat, even then if Jagya apply for the transfer, Jagya may be in trouble. as gauri is her assigned senior.

Now jagya want transfer, But Gauri brainwashed him. if Jagya still initiate the transfer process, He may get in trouble. But Gauri is not in Bechari condition. She may initiate the transfer. this would save their personneland professional lives..

I agree with what u said...there were better ways to handle the situation.First its indeed a very sensitive issue.Any administrative body would have understood the seriousness of the situation.If ppl at SNG are so professional they would have understood that it would be best from proffessional point of view if J and G work in different teams.
Secondly the way she did his introduction was not right.There is no need to introduce a new doctor to the whole hospital!The doctors and other staff will start knowing him on their own.She should have introduced him only to her teamates and introduced him not only as a doctor but also her husbamd.Yes I know when she would have done so the juniors would still have made fun of them but atleast Jagiya wuld have been assured that Gauri is not ashamed of him.
That would have been a more kind and mature behaviour.But still whom are we expecting it from?😆😆

Actually, this i believe to be true. Yes, gauri has just joined a month ago, but she managed her M.S. academic program very, very smartly and got a lot of breaks to assist major surgeons so she has a lot more exposure than the average M.S. from Charak Medical Institute might.

If you remember, they were going on a treat for a movie once, and just at that time, the dean had called gauri in, and told her that the medical management was very impressed with her and that she could assist a top surgeon who had come to Bombay with a highly complex surgery which 99.9% of surgeons dont get to experience. At that time, she didnt go to the movie and proceeded to surgery, and then jagya got frustrated and went to a bar and got drunk. She was the only student at SNG given this opportunity.

Another time, gauri was in a rush in the morning, because the dean had called her early in the morning and told her to report to the surgical theatre quickly because a very senior surgeon had come to do something and he had got permission for gauri to be in the operation theatre. (the only student once again.) Then jagya kept trying to delay her and telling her to eat breakfast with him -- and it was greasy alu parathas and dahi -- and gauri ran out the door saying she didnt want to waste time on breakfast, and anyway she didnt want to eat such heavy food and she grabbed two fruits from kunda tai's kitchen and left. And he was stuck remembering when he had abused anandi for serving him alu parathas with ghee and telling her she didnt know anything about good health. 😆😆

Then a third time, when anandi became sarpanch, again she ran out because she was getting some very special opportunity and jagat kept begging her to stay with him and she said no, she had a special opportunity to assist someone. Then she went on the road, and found she had forgotten her purse, and came back to find jagat chatting with anandi about her sarpanch position😆😆

So, I cant comment on the extent of gauri's knowledge, but the dean definitely got her lots of breaks to assist in rare complex surgeries, many many more than the average M.S. student would have access to -- the other students just did run of the mill surgeries as part of their practical exams to complement their theoretical studies.

It is quite possible that all these experiences helped her to get an edge over others to get a job in SNG.

Dear Tinoo, while I do not deny Gauri's professional skills and talent, I do feel that 1 month is just too soon to see anyone at the top. 😆

ya thas why i am shocked too. here in nair hospital doctors are in duty.. night day they are working under presser and major cases handled by fully profession doctors who have atleast 5 years more then experiences. even in that case they take professional help..& here they are showing unexperiences doctors handling case an an individual..

apart that i would like to mention about docotrs are always learning everything for every one. other then doctors. they are working some time under technician too like lab assistant and all.. my dad is lab assistant and so many students are love to getting his help form there work and plus they not even shown any ego. form them its part of learning..
