Anandi and Dadisa's double talk

Absolutely agree and am also having trouble swallowing the pravachans these days especially by Anandi. If Dadisa has two sets of rule books, one for her family men and one for outsiders, that is very predictable but I certainly did not expect same from extremely principled Anandi. I am having a really hard time reconciling the two Anandis (Jagya's Anandi and Gaon Anandi). Sooner or later if she is expected to take up public office then the twain shall have to meet. She has to emerge above reproach in order to not only gain trust but also make a lasting difference in the society.

Anandi should punish J I agree...even Dadisa has behaved very bad in the past

@Niharika -- yes, it was part of the plan to make J-G stay and create misunderstandings.

@parri - yes. the two sets of 'rules' from anandi is what sickens me.

Dadisa is a grey character...she would never go against her ladesaar.

But yesterday, dadisa did not blame gulli (with her blame the girl attitude)... she readily blamed the boy. 😆

Because he was not her ladesar...I wonder how would she react is somebody complains of eve teasing against Jagya 😊

And she has a tendency of blaming the wife.Jagya went away frm Anandi coz Gauri trapped him so she tried to create misunderstanding so tht he comes back to already trainned beendni.

This is the way most people think in India.Its wrong but what to do It'll take time to change this balme-the_girl attitude.

thats what sickens me the most that many people instead of sympathizing with the victim tend to blame her.

Why she didn't do this , why she didn't do that. etc etc etc

Blame the girl...

I mean Jagya is the jerk who did everything, but no one really questions him. Not much is said about him, except with an attitude of ' oh well he is a loser - lets move on'

but when it comes to Anandi, every single action of hers is looked upon with the microscopic eye. I mean why?

She was ALWAYS like this against people who did injustice from her childhood. And why is it hard ot believe that , she did not hurt jagya, or want to hurt jagya, because she is in love with him.

Even the most sane of the person can do insane things when in love. That part of her will never go away. So she is not being hypocritical because, her weakness is Jagya and when it comes to him, her rational leaves her.

About DS she always has supported Jag as well. He is her weakness , just like he is the weakness of Anandi and now Gauri. When it comes to Jagya, these women loose their rational and this happens in real life too.

It is very sad indeed. Blame the victim attitude. She has gone through so much in her life, and instead of sympathizing her and cheering her on , for the positive steps she has taken to change her life, many are taking the anger of Jagya on her. [blame the girl]

wow India certainly has not changed.
It is certainly a curse to be born as a woman in this land. Cause no matter how much you do. you WILL be blamed.
