My views on BV until now

⭐️Balika Vadhu- This show came as a breath of fresh air when all the Indian channels were occupied with K shows and 3 times nahin-nahin-nahin drama.

The meaningful messages at the end of every episode were also good as they used to generate a question for the viewers to answer or at least think abt the issue. 😃

Anadi and jagya became household name and were cute. It focused on how a girl child had to sacrifice and at the same time the boy was encouraged to be superior than his girl. 😡

Sugna and Pratap were also close to real life example – teens get tempted towards physicality and then sugna was made a widow to show how a woman as a child widow suffers. 😭

Gehna was a rebellion, against her saas and also her hubby due to dictatorship and age difference respectively. 👍🏼 Even her complications to the pregnancy-thing was good.

After this phase the show went down. 👎🏼

Shyam – not possible (may be 1 in a million) 🤔

Sugna keeping prataps child at age 15 for all the aakhri nishani crap (totally not worthy of preaching) 😳

Anandi giving up her studies for "an old lady who may die in few years" dadisa (most idiotic decision) 😕

Gehna and sugna giving birth to baby BOYS without any complications (mother n baby) (what was the point here, if everything went fine)🥱

Then came in the rumors that BV can go for a leap and the prod house brought in teepri the phsyco to raise trps but alas!

Then they ran out of ideas so now came in the highly hyped leap of 5 yrs. 😎

Sumitra ka wardrobe became heavier and Gehna changed her hairstyle. And Oh not to forget 1940's glasses for dadisa. 😆

I don't want to comment on the new actors, I don't hate them neither do I love them.😊

Till now the post leap episodes were nothing but drag…and the last few epis showed- "the love is in the air❤️" or rather I shud say "hormones are shooting up in the air😵".

As kids they played with each other but now being so-called adults accepting each other as husband n wife is a totally different issue.🤓 It looks like they were just waiting to meet and then consummate.

And don't get me started on the messages at the end of the recent episodes – (beep beep beep) 🤬

I hope the cvs come up with some sensible stuff other than romance n hormones. 😔

The only good thing that happened to this show was Farida jalal as in Badi jiji. 👏And good to see phooli the balika vidhva studying (chalo hindi medium bhi chalega) and not married. 👍🏼

Ok so I guess u r talking abt the new anandi n jagya.................. yes it is bound to have attraction and also the love bcoz the idea of being hubby n wife was implanted since they were 10-12 yrs old
Kids develop they thinking in their childhood aur bachpan se jo sikhaya gaya wohi man main rahegi.

They have already shown that thru sugna and pratap case......so i guess the next couple should learn something from sugnas experience............they cant act kidish and i am not asking them to be overly mature but itne saal baad mile that too a little bit grown up adults .....initial jhijhak to honi chahiye na ...yeh dono tho directly romance karne lage

and btw........kya ab bhi anandi ko samaj main nahin aata how sugna had varun even when sugna was not married to shyam. ......i hope her character thinks abt herself for once than being the ever obedient bahu of dadisa.

I guess she was independent only as a kid but due to the child marriage she was remoulded into a dutiful bahu who doesnot care abt herself anymore.

farida jalal was very good but i think you should add sandhya teacher too,i think it would have been worth a watch had she been brought back permanently,,she would have said things 👏 to dadisa,'' dadisa stop meddling in everybody's 🤬 go to theerth yaatraa 🤬 '' which everybody in this madhouse conviniently forgets 😡 She would have changed the face of BV positively
Also,agar leap lena hi tha ,toh they could have done that after the bullet wound fiasco 🤔 with the whole memory loss track -forgeting saasra--anandi could have studied,kuch toh acchaa hota But NOoooo 😕 they had to go with this silly romantic track 🥱 ..me too totally indifferent to this new pair-they are not bad but somethings missing ,maybe storyline..
This is the only hindi serial i regularly watched,but the CVs have made it sooo ordinary now, when earlier it was exceptional With the leap, they buried the soul and essence of Balika vadhu in the sands of time when avika turned to pratyusha...
hope they find some interesting storylines and the serial goes back to how good it was 😍

The time when farida jalal was in BV was the best ever !!! Loved the whole track of how she got Sugna to eat sweets, got her back into the house...everything...They should have got her back ! I sometimes feel yea daadisa ki akal thikane lagane ke liye farida ji hi theek thi..

and agree teacher ji ka role itna chota kyon? she was shown again in between for a couple of episodes and now she has vanished !

Yes, I agree Teacher ji ka role shud have been a long n permanent one, who is educated and has modern thinking.
She wud not only come fight n stop child marriages but can also try to bring small changes in the village peoples mindset. 😃
Like may be the 10th grade girl child is able to help her uneducated father in his accounts and loans calculations etc
May be another kid wants to study and then make some changes to their village, help build better facilities like roads etc (shyam - city main padha likha what help is he doing to his village😕)

And dont get me started don the bullet-shot-memory-loss thing............that was way beyond K show drama.

I actually think they shud change the new anandi hairstyle bcoz the short hair she has in the front gives her a modern look than the village girl with long hair.🤔

And yes the main problem lies in the script and that is why i want to wait some more time to judge the new actors. 😊

Yeah with pratap death and gehna pregnancy and anandi ke usual gham😭 - we were all tired of the dukh and Badi Jiji came in as a Ray of hope.⭐️ That was the phase i really enjoyed and was satisfied with the script.

And the most important thing is that Badijiji didnot force Dadisa to do all the things for the girls in her house but the way she explained and brought a change of thinking was worth seeing. 👏
