Some undigestible things

Season 1 & 2 comparison is not justified as season 1 was epic. Makers have tried but the story and concept this season couldn't stand out different and leave some loopholes regarding storylines and overall showcase of society problems.

1. The whole concept of child marriage is overshadowed by unconditional pampering of Anandi and friendship of male patrons. How will they show anandi's struggle when there is so much love by her in laws and favourable conditions for her. Normally, if there is so much friendship between two families usually the marrige relations happen in modern world too not too early but its almost fixed in higher society too so adding child marriage in this I think its weird nd foolish concept.

2. Gujrati backdrop is not so suitable for showing social causes because here child marriage percentage is low, dowry cases r almost nil the case of leela's sister is totally false here dowry is not demanded by boy's family. Patel community which is dominant have abolished dowry. The people of business mind r not so stubborn in societal harsh rules.

3. One more loophole regarding today's episode in the society in which in laws r demanding boy from their pregnant DIL it means girls r given no rights over here why Diwali Ben the sister of Premji is given much priority that a son is being thrown out of the house. According to society ladke ki hazar galti maaf so the story they r showing is totally different from their own concept. Writers r trapped in their own story lines.

Here this time purendu shekhar himself told that he Dont know much about Gujarat culture so he take help from ram mori who is Gujarat screen play writer

And ram mori is born on Gujarat a village name called sihor and now Living in ahmedabad. So ram mohri living in gujrati since his birth

Don't know about other things, but surely agree with your first point, how will they show that the marriage is wrong if they show anandi pampered so much is something I don't understand

That's a bit awkward that the story is set in the place where child marriages were so much prevalent but still people long for a girl child, these 2 things don't really match

Nd most child marriages now also take place coz of lack of money, nd something like that, but here they are showing a baby girl married in itself,which is unrealistic to one extent

Btw story abhi start kahan hui hai. Abhi story se pehle base ban raha hai is hafte to cvs ne character ka introduction karaya and created base. Before building story Ab next Week se they are gone to build story

I would like to clear some things as I hail from Gujarat and a pure born and brought up kind person here.

@Bold Blue: We get that but its all shown as base story on which the main plot will revolve. Yes it happens in modern times too where friends turn their friendship into relationship. But adding this thing they have tried to make it bit progressive and not that regressive compared to Season 1

@Bold Green: Gujarati Backdrop is suitable and very relevant as well. Just check this survey done in December 2020 which covers Gujarat. (https://thewire.in/women/underage-marriage-gujarat-nfhs-survey) More than 26-33% are married underage. This is still very much prevalent in Gujarat specially in North Gujarat Interiors, Saurashtra, Kutch...!!!Dowry is still there and if not directly they do torture indirectly as well. Ther are not talking about forward communities like Patel Shah or Desai here its about other classes where it is very much present.

@Bold Red: They have shown that contradictions purposefully as it show how society keep double standards. In rich or upper class they showed how excessive freedom to daughters can ruin your own house if she is mad after the ancestral property and throws brother only out of the house while if its from backward class or lower group they face all said atrocities. I have many examples of same. In Kutch or other regions of Saurashtra if the elder Sister is very strong headed and cunning at same time she keeps a tab on her property and if its her final word in every matter then nobody from family can go against.

Again i am saying we need to keep both seasons separate as Rajasthani Culture was presented in more orthodox way while Gujarati Backdrop will look complicated and full of contradictions as they will show both extremes and their pros and cons

In my Bengal there is so much poverty ... families live in mud houses without proper doors .😭

Poverty stricken families can not guarantee safety for their girls .😭😭

The moment a girl reaches puberty she is married off fearing her safety .. this is not child marriage ritual but marriage forced by socio economic conditions😭😭😭
