I loved this scene and the underlying meaning to it. So dadi knows that her sons are of no use and yet wants Abhi to understand and let go. She tells him to fight like a soldier and forgive the chachas and indirectly also wants him to say sorry so peace prevails Then comes the apt line from babli Bhagwaan bhi bana diya aur fir usi bhagwaan se galti manvakar uska ohda bhi chhin liya 👏 And dadis reply that he has only done good things so he will only get good things in life. The writing and acting was so good that even though you know dadi is wrong you feel equally for her

Finally, Yay😆 There was a moment where she sees him completely broken and it strengthens her resolve to help him.And PJ he can emote so much even though he doesnt say a word you can understand what he is going through.
.

I really hope her plan is somewhat believable and not too outlandish😆 She sends prayer to Hanumanji😆 she has a running prasad account with him at all branches😆

She has actually put that bag under the desk where anybody could see it. Keeping fingers crossed😆

Oh lol I meant to write Hanuman ji, accidentally wrote Ganesh.

That soldier wala dialogue from daadi was another one of those bittersweet lines today. She said it to encourage him to be strong but at the same time, you feel sad hearing it.

Yes that little moment where just for a bit he can relax into his mother's lap and not be burdened by responsibilities...but it's so very brief...the way he springs to attention when daadi comes in shows what a genuine and sincere guy he is. And kinda bhola too, which is why the family manages to either guilt trip him or cajole him with one sweet word here or there. Gem of a guy who deffo deserves better.

Yep it's definitely going to come into play in Abhi-Meera's marriage. They will constantly be compared to this uncle who ran away with rich girl case. Let's see how the show handles it.

Got around to watching today's episode really late but it was so worth watching it.
PJ continues to amaze me with his solid performance day after day. I am curious to know how he was in his debut show now. He mentioned in the launch interview that it was a polar opposite character..hmmm.
anyways, Abhi-Babli scene was so darn touching. I like the way they depict their version of mom-son bonding in the show, both actors are doing excellent in their portrayals even though the lady who plays his mom barely looks like his mom but their acting makes you believe it. His mom is able to see through the fort he builds around himself and I like how he allows himself to resign in her lap and just BE. Just yesterday we were wondering about the source of his strength and resilience and I guess it's safe to say that it's WITHIN him. That is so evident when Amma walks up and he straightens himself to present himself as the dutiful son of the house. Amma sees through him as well...probably as much as Babli does but Amma's perspective is clouded by her loss of her 2 sons in her life. It seems as if she finds herself as an incompetent mother or something in comparison to Babli. I was quite annoyed by her words yesterday and kinda irked by her even today when she indirectly nudges Abhi to apologize/ ignore his good-for-nothing chachas. But I guess she's just too afraid to loose even her useless sons because to her, that would seem as if she was an unsuccessful mother or something.
I absolutely love the fact that Babli always tends to speak up for her son in the most respectful manner possible. She's so helpless and crying all the time but when it comes to voicing her concern regarding any injustice to her son, she doesn't falter even if it might not bring about any change or lessen Abhi's burdens. It's good to see such subtle strength shine through an otherwise utterly helpless mother.

Re: Meera--- She finally seems to AWAKEN! I liked that wordless scene where she walks out in the thunderstorm and just silently observes Abhi helplessly stand still in the rain. That brief moment where he turns and meets her eyes was nicely done...especially PJ's expressions before he walks away. Namita still needs to work a whole lot in order to even slightly match up to PJ.

@Meera's plan and precap--- I have no freaking idea what her plan really is! What was the purpose of stealing the bag and those paint tubes and vials in the precap? She did manage to rally the troupe of Abhi's cousins though.
lol it was just funny to see how she quickly realized and resorted to bribing Anita to get info outta her. A bureaucrat's daughter😆

@ nymeria i read an interview of PJ where he mentioned he did theatre in his college days i guess that explains how fab he is at getting the emotions and nuances bang on , the way this boy plays abhishek is extraordinary u can feel every damn emotion of abhi so well 👏 he made abhi so believable i don't think anyone else in tv industry could've made this character so special as PJ did

so most of you've written my thoughts up already absolutely loved the bubbly ,amma abhi scene very impactful, brilliant acting by all 3. i had tears in my eyes when abhi said kia aankhein band kar lene se mushkilein khatam ho jati hai? he was a child in that moment who knew very well the answer yet he wanted his mother to calm him down say something that might not be true but is good to say in that moment ( kinda like how we say chand taare lana phrase we all know it's impossible to practically get chaand taare yet we claim to get them if u get what trying to say here) he was just so tired and done with everything. :(( then the amma comes with her unreasonable demand that he should ask for forgiveness even if he wasn't at fault and cheers him up a bit by calling him a soldier and our boy again gathers all the leftover himmat and takes all the stuff out to do the labour work himself only to be told that the stupid chacha sold the cement Huh say what and then came my fav moment of the day yes abhi finally breaks out falls on his knees totally dejected and broken:((

insane acting by PJ in this moment

and then him looking at the sky as if asking God when will all this be over ? why only he has to suffer, when will his problems end? i felt so so so horrible in that moment i just wanted to give abhi a tight hug, the boy deserves loads and loads of happiness these loser chachas are not worthy of having abhishek

and then he falls on his knees thinking now he can be himself nobody is seeing him unaware of meera's presence

i don't know if it's only me or did u guys noticed it too that he cried in the rain ( i hope am not seeing things but i felt as if i saw tears rolling down with the rain)

and then he quickly gets a hold on himself reminding himself that he isn't allowed to give up he has to be strong there's no other way no matter how hard it is, sees meera and walks away with his eyes saying so much another moment i love btw

overall so in love with the episode, the makers came back to their senses and gave a superb epi after a few misses and i loved it👏

I liked the Bbali-Dadi-Abhishek scene... I was quite irritated with Dadi's calling Abhisek Bhagwaan and all that , like how convenient call him Bhagwaan and ho gaya ...he can bear all W*F*ckery and still be the soldier n stand still ...and then on top of that Abhi bbeing all ready to seek forgiveness from Ramraj . I know Daadi after 2 sons now doesn't want to loose the remaning two... but for this overlooking their irresponsible behaviour and reprimanding Abhishek was something Irked me .
Thank God Babli voiced her discomfort and Loud Enough...!!!
Daadi like a typical Indian Old Daadi ... taked abt Kismat ka Pahiya and shanicchar ...
Kudos to writer ...for keeping this scene so Raw and so REAL...
The conversation were straight out of a any indian family ...

I guess a member yest on your Post mentioned that may be Abhia and Meera themselves will start building the wall... my heart went out to Abhi when he himslef decided to start with the Process...
and then Ramraj being as Shameless as he can be ...says to Abhi that he sold out cement for Kapil's some Lame course... Arrgghhh 😡
. Just a day before he was asking Abhishek abt the money that they'll get from Foreign delegation's stay so as to pay for whatevr IT gapla that he has done ... yet he argues with those workers , bhagoes them ..and gives zilch helping hand to Abhishek for that . He is entirely dependant on Abhishek for teh IT gapla that he has done ...I am sure when this thing comes out He'll again shameless Throw "Your Dad ran away leaving us" on Abhi's Face and walk away ...

Ramraj's scene with Kapil abut Kapil's delivery in Hospital was 😆 , shows how Chingus Ramraj is ...

Dont knwo If Meera has Woken up completely or not ...BUt yes the Journey started yest when She was all Up before 3...2...1 of Alarm's.
Meera watching broken Abhi dint made any impact on me ... Namita was absolute Blank there ...
Also I have no idea what her Plan is ...I hope she helps Abhishek rather then mounting more problems on himm ...

I like the Wall Metaphor that you used...Apt..!!!

Re: PJ ...lol I saw one epi of his debut show yesterday. His character was deffo the polar opposite of Abhi and the show as a whole was the polar opposite of bbkd. It was just weird seeing him as lazy ass type of character just sitting around given the image of Abhi fresh in my mind.

Feel like this show has much more nuance and scope for him to perform although he seemed to be acting naturally even in that show where his character was kinda loud and ott by description. Also for all we rag on Namita, so far she seems to have better chemistry with him than the girl in his previous show.

Lol@ the line about Meera being a bureaucrat's daughter and knowing how to bribe ppl. Haha good one!

Thanks for posting the caps, Fary and Asmita :). I loved the visual of Abhi with his head in Babli's lap.
And I also felt he gave in to tears briefly when he collapsed in the rain.

Re: Meera watching him...yes it didn't have the emotional impact it could have had...most of the time she looked more irritated and distracted by the rain. Lol dunno if that was deliberate or that is the scope of Namita's range.

Abhi's scene with his mom and daadi was really well put together...starting from the way he scolds his mom about the chocolates and then kinda collapses his head into her lap, getting emotional again...I loved Babli in this scene...the woman is so surprisingly assertive and vocal sometimes for all the time she otherwise spends crying. The way she tells Abhi she only used the chocolate as an excuse to get him over to her and then telling him to cry it all out...mom-son share a special bond.

And then the scene took on another shade with Amma's entry...this scene was a study in the complexity of family dynamics...on one hand, Amma tries to give moral support to Abhi, cheer him up, apologize on behalf of the useless chachas, giving us some insight into the family history (Side note: All the sons being named "something"Raj is hilarious to me😆". A picture starts to emerge of a mother who once took pride in having 4 sons but is now left with only 2, both of whom are utterly irresponsible...and there is only one grandson she can count on. That moment where she equates Abhi to her bhagwaan ...who cannot be summoned, but needs to be walked over to...some beautiful dialogues.

She managed to cheer Abhi up but another powerful moment comes after that when Babli retorts that it is so convenient for them to venerate Abhi to a God's status in one instant and in the next instant, blame him for something and suddenly take away his stature...you see how much Babli feels bitter and hurt about the fact that their seems to be no happiness in sight for her son in the middle of this mess. To which, Amma replies that this is a cycle of time...and Abhishek has sown so much good, he will surely receive some good too...some interesting reflective dialogues even as Amma looks quite regretful and resigned to the situation.

The entire scene was beautiful and real. Loved Babli's dialogue! Yesterday, she gave it straight and, quite frankly, that's what all the members of the family need. Also, I love the way when babli speaks she doesn't spell each and every word out to get her message across. It's nice for the audience too. We're always given those obvious dialogues; it's a nice change.
