Shot Description

Priya never lied for herself. She lied to protect her family, she kept secrets from those she loves to protect their happiness and she would gladly do it all over again for them. Priya had been telling the lie over and over again to herself for so long she almost believed them.

Ram Kapoor was a fool. He made himself a fool by ignoring the truth right in front of his eyes for so long. He let people make a fool out of himself over and over again that he never stood a chance when life dealt him with the cruelest blow that destroyed him.

Author's Note:

Apologies for changing the track and character to suit my OS. I usually tend to not try to erase a character action but it kind of worked for this OS. In no way, I am trying to justify the character action as if it didn't happen. I am just trying to write an OS that gives me an happy ending.

This is too good.. They need to talk it out.. I hope that track comes. Loved it

This is so so beautiful.. Words fall short honestly..

I just loved the way u used the minister, him showing mirror to Ram , that how somewhere he and Ram r similar, how inspite of having faith in Priya he can be plagued by his own insecurities n jealousy.. It's sheerly my personal opinion , I strongly feel one of the biggest reasons why he forced himself to believe Priya's adultery is he has always been insecure and felt redundant as a husband to a fiercly independent Priya who doesn't need a man in a conventional way.

That's why he holds drunk Priya so close to his heart.

His anger clouds him , his self worth issues of whether he is worthy of Priya crops up every time he sees her laughing with Krish or even standing next to Neeraj . Him constantly making fun of Neeraj's gelled hair , trying to find out if Priya had been to Krish's house in her teens etc etc can be passed of childish jokes of an attention deficit manchild but deep down it is his insecurity .

This line is literally the best, Multiple likes for this one.

Mr Kapoor's mom didn't break their relation nor did Shivi's death it was her own fear..

Ram n Priya remind me of the gigantic elephant tied by a tiny rope story..

Priya has been traumatized by her father who right from childhood insisted that she is a bad luck n a curse.. Multiple times we hv seen her struggling to overcome this fear

No matter how much she fought with herself to believe in love life n hope , her past always comes haunting , more than the events that happened it is the shackles with which she has tied herself that she deserves to be punished, she is unworthy of all happiness that spoils it. Till the time she fights this there is no point of RaYa reunion.

Also look at destiny's play. It makes me mad that how every curse that the monster MS uttered unfortunately turned out true.

It's a vicious cycle u know , The curse pulling down Priya every time she makes a little progress, n her own belief in the curse that worsens the situations both complimenting each other.

The biggest fear that Pri had was to never reach the the same crossroads as her mother n unfortunately she had to deliver her child in the worst possible circumstances, married yet estranged, having a partner who would have been daddy cool yet seeing her daughter fatherless..

As they say your mind is your biggest enemy n dearest friend.I love how u made Ram n Priya both break these shackles with which they have fortified themselves for so long ...

Once again appreciation for the creative way u used the politician n his wife in this story . I really loved it❤️

Beautiful yaar ❤️ How do you manage to do this? I loved how u once again gave dimension to the minister's character. He wasn't just merely there for the sake of the deal but he played a part in revealing the truth using his connections. I loved it. And I also love how Priya finally took a stand for herself. I was listening to the song Dil from EVR while reading this and it fits so beautifully. I am completely awestruck everytime I read one of your stories. You know how to grab your reader's pulse and keep them engaged. Great going 👍🏼

It's so beautiful. I hope that they get to this important conversation in the series too.

OH MY LOVE. THIS SO SOSOSOSOSOSOSO GOOD. I want to pour my heart out but I'm short on time right now (cause I was lost in my own thoughts, I read your piece almost three times from start to finish now, you have a real gift!).

Two things that stuck with me are:

Ram's dialogue- "The interview is done. If you expect me to sit here and listen to you accuse my wife of being unfaithful then you have lost your mind. No one talks about my wife like that and Adi, get her out of my house now" I truly believe this scene has the potential to be shot and televised. I hope you wrote the BALH 2 scripts yaar, this was too good! I got goosebumps ahhhhhhhhhhh. He loves her so much. He cares for her so much, it's unreal.

Mr Kapoor's mom didn't break their relationship. Shivi's death didn't break it either. But it had been Priya's fear that made her lie to him and continue lying to him even now.

YESSSS. I physically clapped when I read this. So true. Priya- was under no real dabaav, no one held her at gunpoint to lie. But, she lied, cause, when it comes to her Mr. Kapoor, her feeling take over. Guilt, insecurity, pain, a need to protect. Her unconditional love is something else. But, she fails to realize that, she owes Ram the truth. She fails to realise the power of his unconditional love, it's soothe her ache, more sooner than later I hope. I can almost imagine him "patiently waiting for her with a outstretched arm". AWWWW, LOVE IT!
