SHORT STORY ON RAYA: { part 1 updated}

Would it be okay if I write a short story on the post leap plot, I may add few additional characters , will you guys be interested to read it?

Also, I apologize to everyone who supported me , when I wrote my first ever TS which I did not complete, I just couldn't figure out possibilities to continue the plot from where I ended the first part. I am really sorry😣 would try completing this one promise🤞🏻

Please do post. Everyone here has such different perspectives on the plot and its refreshing to read.

Additional charachters-
zoya- business woman from Delhi,
She is the CEO of Z industries.
Zeeshan- zoya's brother
Dadijaan- zeeshan's and zoya's grandma

Zoya along with her family has shifted to Delhi for a dream project of her father. It will be her first venture in Mumbai. Zoya's company is planning to work with shubham kapoor's company, as their company is backed by and practically run by India's top businessman Mr. Ram Kapoor, who is the head of kapoor urbans.

Part 1-
It's 9:00 am ,
Zoya is sitting in her cabin eagerly waiting for someone along with her entire team of professionals.
Suddenly her PA comes in the cabin and informs that the meeting would have to be cancelled. Zoya enquires about the reason for the same. The PA states that no specific reason was told to her. Zoya fumes in anger but she composes herself and asks her team to continue with their respective works and that they will discuss about it later. Zoya asks her PA to cancel all the meetings which were scheduled that day. Zoya goes home.

Outside andheri police station;
Aditya- ram pichle 6 mahino mein ye 4 baar ho chuka hai ki shubham drink and drive ke case mein andar hua. Tu usse baat kyu nahi karta?
Shubham(intrupts in between) - ye mujhe kuch keh bhi nahi sakte, kyunki ye shivi ko nahi bacha paye, maine apni behen khoi hai inki wajah se.
Aditya- Shubham, behen Ram ne bhi khoyi hai, aur wo ek accident tha, isme ram ki kya galti hai, tum har baar usse guilty kyu feel karwate rehte ho?
Shubham - tum chup raho, ye hamara family matter hai?
Aditya- yeh tumhara family matter hai, ye tumhe office mein employees ke samne ram ko kehte waqt kyun nahi yaad ata.
Shubham- you stay in your limits
Ram ( yells at Shubham) - Shubham kisse baat kar raha hai dekh raha hai,Adi family hai, don't you dare speak in that tone to him ever again!!!
abhi tu hosh mein nahi hai ham baad mein baat kerenge abhi ghar ja driver chod dega.
Adi chal office mein kaam hai.
Adi- hmm

Ram and adi in the car;
Ram - chodna adi Tu jaanta hai na shivi ke jaane baad kuch pehle jaisa nahi raha, Shubham abhi us sadme se ubhar nahi paya hai, jaanede baccha hai wo. Main use samjhaunga adi.
Aditya- yahi kaha tha tune pichle teen baar bhi par kuch nahi badla. Hamme se koi bhi us accident se ubhar nahi paye hai, par hum sab koshish kar rahe hai truth ko accept karne ki, wo pura ignorance mood on kiye hue hai. Ram usse pata hai tu sambhalega isliye wo ye sab bilkul lightly le raha hai.
Uska business tune set karke diya hai, par chalana use hai aise nahi chalega kaam. Abhi wo z industries ke saath itna bada project hone wala hai agar ye sab unhe pata chala toh, kya wo project age leke jaana chahenge tu bat???
Ram- adi ye sab tu mat soch, ye bata wo z industries ke saath wale project ka kya hua?
Aditya- mujhe Shubham ke PA ne bataya tha ki unke saath aaj koi meeting honi hai ye sab discuss karne ke liye.
Ram - ye project uski company ko mil jaaye to use kaafi exposure bhi milega aur wo busy rahega to in sab cases mein nahi padega,delk lena. Adi har bar hm clients ya partners nhi dila skte n use. Ek din use khud sambhalna hoga na.
Aditya- dekhte hai🙄

Ram and aditya finish their work at the office, it's 9 pm
Aditya - Ram aaj ka sab kaam hogaya hai, chal ghar chalte hai
Ram- hmm
The receptionist comes to the cabin and informs adi that brinda had called and was a little disappointed with him for not paying attention to her messages and calls
Adi( acts scared) - ram aaj to main gaya, meeting mein jo phone silent pe rakha hatana hi bhool gaya, aaj brinda kacha chaba jayegi.
Ram( laughs)- tu bri se kaise dar sakta hai , wo itni sweet hai
Adi- kya sweet kuch sweet nahi hai, kal office mein na milun to mera haal puchne aa jana ghar, please
ek kaam karte hai kuch flowers khareedke de dete hai , thoda to mood chill ho uska.

[Ram remembers the time when he bought all the roses from a kid to give them to priya at the farm house]
Aditya- ek sec Shubham ke PA ke itne missed calls kyu hai. Kuch urgent lag raha hai
Ram ( tensed) - tu bhi na adi , de mein baat karta hun
Hello!
PA- hello ram Sir, ek bohot badi problem ho gayi hai
Ram- kya hua shubhu theek hai na
PA - wo to aaj office aye nahi,
Sir, aaj unki ek important meeting thi Z industries ki Zoya ma'am ke saath, wo aaj aye nahi, nahi unhone call pick kiya, nahi adi sir ne,, unhone project cancel kardiya, wo Shubham sir ko milane ke liye apne team ke saath 1 hr bethe rahe office mein, par sir nahi gaye aur naahi call karke kuch bataya.
Ram- oh god, kitne baje ki thi meeting?
PA- sir 8:00 am
Ram- ye project kaafi important tha, delhi ke market mein company ko ek opening de skti thi ye deal
Ek kaam karo, Zoya ka no. Hai mein dekhta hun kya kar sakte hai, aur jo presentation ready ki hogi aaj ke liye wo mujhe bhej do
PA- sir project details mein bhej deti hu, maine call kiya tha sir unke PA ne kaha woh hamse nahi milna chahte hai
Ram- ok unka address pata hai?
PA- yes Sir
Ram - good mujhe abhi ke abhi bhejo.
Adi, car nikal hame jana hoga!!
Aditya- Ram lekin bohot late ho chuka hai
Ram- ye important hai adi
Adi nods his head, he knows there is no use of saying anything to ram now, once he makes up his mind he will do it.

They reach the address, the security doesn't allow them to meet. Security calls Zoya tells her that one Mr. Ram Kapoor from bandra is there to meet her.
Zoya asks him to let them in.
. Aditya hesitates to ring the bell. Ram rings the bell of the apartment.
Zoya opens the door-
Zoya-Welcome Mr. Kapoor,it's a pleasure to meet you.have been an ardent admirer of one of the biggest businessmen in India.Although this was not how I expected I would meet you.
Ram- It's a pleaure to meet you too. thank you for letting us in at this hour. Also don't call me Mr. Kapoor I don't like being called that.
Aditya looks at Ram. Priya used to call ram Mr. Kapoor. He feels bad for his friend.
Zoya- no problem. Then can I call you Mr. Ram Kapoor ??
Ram - ya that would good. I am here to talk to you about the deal.
Zoya- i could guess that. What is left there to discuss about a deal which was never signed?
Ram- I apologize on my brother's behalf, he was caught up in some unavoidable circumstances, hence could not join for the meeting.
Zoya- as far I know the circumstance could have been avoided by not drinking and driving.
Ram and Adi look at each other.
Zoya- although my base has been Delhi, I have some good sources in mumbai too.
Sir I don't have as much experience as you . But I know one thing I can not choose my rivals but that is not the case with my partners, so I do not wish to make a deal with your irresponsible brother.
Ram- I understand . Thank you for letting us in and listening to what I wanted to say.
Ram and Adi turn around to leave.
Zoya is walking towards her bedroom when, dadijaan grabs her hand.
Zoya- dadijaan , kya kar rahe ho aap, soye nahi abhi tak?
Dadijaan- zoya main ek baat kahu, baaki sab mujhe nahi pata, par wo admi ek chance deserve karta hai agar ye baat uske liye important na hoti to woh kabhi yaha nahi ate, ye mat bhool jab tumhare parents ki death hui thi accident mein, tab tujhe bhi kisine mauka diya tha, jiski wajah se tu yaha hai!
Zoya- lekin wo alag baat thi
Dadijaan- dekh zoya wo log ache hai ache log se haath milana chahiye, ja unhe rok !!
Zoya turns around and stops Ram and Aditya.
Zoya- rukiye, ye project mere dream project hai, aapse zyada trust mein kisi aur business man pe nahi kar sakte, aap is field mein kayi saalon se hai, aap Shubham Kapoor ke company mein partnership bhi hold karte hai aur far more responsible hai, aapka experience and advice mere liye important hoga.
Ram and look at each other happily.
Ram- that means apology accepted,therefore the deal is on,should I show you the presentation?
Zoya- no, galti apki nahi thi, toh maafi bhi apki accept nahi hogi
Kal Shubham Sir ko kahiye mujhse ake mile, 9:00 am sharp at my office , we can reconsider the deal then.
Ram and Aditya were really happy they thanked zoya and left.
