Glad you liked it. RaYa can be perfect in every universe if CVs hadn't been so harsh on them😭 I miss goofy Ram who used to have his feet in his mouth😭 I am not sure what to do, but Ig if I can ideas for an epilogue with a leap, it would be great

For ne, every character has mature side in the show, ngl. They are actually really interesting to play around, but are left aside as stereotypes 🥲

Epilogue-Things Ended with An Happily Ever After

Priya entered the bakery with a smile that made Sara's heart skip with excitement. Those smiles were a rare sight. The trauma their father had inflicted on them for so many years and would still inflict sometimes was unmatchable and probably, impossible to move on from, but such small smiles from her younger siblings, her eight-year-old son, and her mother were enough to help her heal.

But then she realized that Priya wasn't supposed to be smiling. Ram had told her a few hours back that he had to leave for Liverpool for a business expansion project, and he could be away for months.

"Are you ok?" Sara asked cautiously.

"I need to talk to you alone," she answered urgently. Sara nodded, and the two sisters picked a corner seat in the bakery, away from the hustling customers at the bakery.

Though she had picked her job out of desperation, after three years, she left it to do what she did best, bake! She took over from her mother, and with some backing from the money she had saved while working, their bakery was in a much better shape to support the family of five. With Priya joining in as a contract teacher in the university, they were financially doing much better than they had ever done when their father was around.

"I proposed to Ram," Priya told her the second she had taken her seat.

"What?!" Sara gasped in shock. This was not what she was expecting to happen. The two had been dating for about three years after spending years pining after each other, and only Sara and Vikrant knew of the relationship, the couple being paranoid of screwing it up, but Sara always knew that this relationship had no scope of screw-ups. Still, Priya taking the relationship to the next level came as a surprise to her.

"He told me about Liverpool, and I started getting paranoid. I thought he was going to break up, and he spent about fifteen minutes telling me that he wasn't, and then it just came out. I asked him to marry me. I don't even know how that happened."

Sara squealed in excitement and then shut up when Priya pressed her hand.

"Are you ok, though? You aren't having any second thoughts, are you?" She couldn't help but ask.

"I can't stop smiling. It's like someone put a hanger in my mouth," Priya blushed and covered her face to hide her smile.

"I can see that! I am so happy for you," Sara replied and hugged her.

"Vikrant, wake up, wake up," Sara whispered, hoping not to wake up Ishaan, who was practically sleeping on his stepfather's body and not on the bed.

"What is it?" Vikrant eyes, not opening his eyes. The duo must have just gone to bed some time back, judging from the stack of files lying on the bed. Ishaan was always a clingy child, but somehow, having a step-father had made him even clingier, and though eight, he would still cling on to her husband of two months like a koala.

"Priya proposed to Ram!" Sara whispered.

"I know, Ram told me," Vikrant said, his still eyes closed, and Sara huffed.

"You ruined my excitement. I hate you,"

"I love you," He replied, and Sara looked at his sleeping form and blushed.

Priya almost yelped as a car pulled up infront of her outside her house. She knew the car, just that this car and its owner were supposed to be en-route to the airport.

"What are you doing here? Don't you have a flight to catch?" She asked Ram as she bent down and looked at him through the car window.

"I canceled the ticket and booked one for the evening. Get in. I'll drop you to college." Priya sighed and sat in the car.

"About yesterday, you were serious, weren't you?" Ram asked when they stopped at a signal. "It's just that proposing to me must have been the rashest decision of your life, so I want to be sure. Are you serious about us getting married?"

"Nope, I was joking. I'll ditch you at the aisle and run away with my other boyfriend, Krish."

"Like the Bollywood superhero?" He snapped, and Priya rolled her eyes.

"Mr. Kapoor, I am dead serious. Yes, I thought about it the whole night, and I don't think I want to marry immediately, maybe after a year or two, but not now. Also, I haven't even told my Maa about us."

"It's a tough job hiding from your mom, but you take your time,"

"I am sorry, Ram. It's just that I am not sure how my mother will react. But I promise I will tell her soon, and we can think about the marriage."

"Pri, my biological clock is ticking, so we have to get married soon," Ram said with a smile to lighten the mood, and Priya pushed him, chuckling.

"Don't worry about your clock. We'll adopt a few puppies."

"Sounds like a plan," Ram said and held her hand. She smiled and rested her head on the seat, her eyes on her boyfriend.

Sometimes, she never knew how life had come to this. But she was glad she was here, stuck in traffic looking at Ram. She was happy that life had brought her across the blue-eyed man, and she couldn't wait to see what more life had in store for them. All she knew was it would be better than her past, and she would have her sister and boyfriend by her side always.

This is the best AU of RaYa I read ❤️ loved how Priya proposed to Ram and neither spent a decade crying over someone who never deserved their love. Am glad Ishaan got Varun as a father early on. Loved reading this and thanks for tagging me 🤗

Aww, this is so sweet Loved their camaraderie and how Priya switches between calling him Mr. Kapoor and Ram with ease. Vikrant and Sara are adorable too. In my head, Ram cancelled/postponed his tickets and is driving Priya to properly propose her for marriage (maybe in college, in front of her students). Thanks for writing this. 🤗
